Property Description

Eco Hostal Joshua Vegetarian Restaurant is a small, family run, eco-minded hostel located near the waterfront in Copacabana, Bolivia. Our large garden area provides a peaceful atmosphere for our guests. Within the hostel we have the only all vegan/vegetarian restaurant in Copacabana, and serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. We bake our own bread and are known for our falafels and veggie burgers.
Most of our rooms have views of the lake and open on to the garden. There is Wi-Fi internet available throughout the hostel. If you have a vehicle, we have secure parking available within the grounds. We speak English, German, French and Spanish.

We are located one block from the lake front and just a 15 minute walk from the main square and Basilica. Boats leaving for Isla del Sol and Isla de la Luna are a quick, 8 minute walk down the beach.

We’ve created a warm and comfortable atmosphere in our rooms. Each room has a hand painted mural, windows, and wooden floors. Most rooms have sunset views over the lake and the garden. Our beds are very comfortable with new mattresses, as well as several layers of sheets and blankets for the lovely yet cold copacabana nights. View House Rules

Really happy with the decision of staying at Joshua’s. It’s out of the main touristic area, but close enough for a walk. The view from the terrace is great for the sunset. Good breakfast for good price and the atmosphere is awesome.

Beautiful hostel who takes it to heart to be eco friendly. The rooms are spacious and have curtains for privacy thankfully. Short walking distance from the beach but further away from the center of Copacabana. Also, for the price, you'd hope for the breakfast to be included, or at least a trimmed version of it. Staff really welcoming

The restaurant was amazing! A must for vegetarians and vegans. The rooms were basic. The location was a bit far from the main area but if you go high enough there is a great view of the lake and a Baja store.

Really nice food and very good location. Rooms were fine. We stayed one night in the hobbit hut which some people accidentally walk in on while we were sleeping. Needs to be clearly signed that it’s a room and not a space to chill. Nice breakfast and showers and bathrooms were fine.

I only stayed for one night as I found the amount of rules and regulations too restrictive. No smoking or drinking alcohol, there wasn’t a kitchen and you needed a key to leave after 10pm. The food in the restaurant was really tasty though!
