I could find no fault with Yuluka. An excellent location and the owner happily picked us up in a shuttle at 8.30am to take us to the park entrance. It was the most beautiful place I stayed at. Everything about the place had been carefully thought out. There were beautiful birds flying around and frogs. The staff were really helpful too and found us a way to get to our next location in Minca. Even the complimentary breakfast was excellent.

Hands down one of the best hostels I've stayed in. We had a private cabana with a private bathroom (and bathtub!), deck, and two hammocks. Definitely worth the price! We stayed for one night before entering the national park in the morning. They held our luggage for two days. Friendly staff and beautiful grounds.

One of my favorite hostels anywhere ever! Unbelievably nice facilities, so peaceful and beautiful, the restaurant is really good, staff was great, and free rides to Tayrona (or it’s walkable). No WiFi or locks on doors.

Beautiful hostel with great ambiance. The pool was awesome after hiking Tayrona. The hammocks were super relaxing and the view of the mountains is great. The food is absolutely delicious and the rooms and beds were adequate. Like others mentioned, the WiFi is slower, but worked fine for messaging and WhatsApp. Great stay!

This is more like a resort than a hostel in the best ways for a tired backpacker. The pool ans slide are great, the rooms are clean and well air conditioned, the beds are soft and the facilities are all high quality. Plus a breakfast off the menu. Cant recomend this enough as a start or end point for Tayrona or as a retreat from scummy hostels (looking at you Taganga)

This place is lovely! The staff is extremely friendly and my stay here was very nice. They didn't give us a key to the shared accommodation but there were small lockers to store our stuff and keep safe. They have AC in the rooms, which is helpful since it can get pretty hot in Santa Marta. They have free shuttles in the morning to take us to the park, but you have to take your own bus back (super easy to catch from the entrance, and costs $3000 COP which is around $1 USD).

If you are going to the park and a rest before and after the hike, this is a good place for you. The hostel doesn't have wifi but has a small pool.

This hostel is perfect if you are looking to hike Tayrona in one day. Free shuttle, and an incredible restaurant - the chef is amazing! The pool is a real treat after a day hiking and it even has a slide! Nice areas to relax, just watch out for the fruit that falls from the trees! Rooms are a bit small but weren’t full when we stayed so it was fine and the air con works well. Free use of the washing machine is a great bonus. Would definitely recommend this place.

    Very Good

A really great atmosphere among nature. There is air-con and fans in the rooms but no hot water (although not really an issue given the weather there). Towels are provided but BYO soap. The staff aren't terribly friendly and some were downright rude and unwilling to help anyone with anything it seemed (a brunette woman). They seem to not like to speak English which is worth considering if this is important to you (you may need advice on Tayrona Park).
