One of my favorite hostels anywhere ever! Unbelievably nice facilities, so peaceful and beautiful, the restaurant is really good, staff was great, and free rides to Tayrona (or it’s walkable). No WiFi or locks on doors.

Beautiful hostel with great ambiance. The pool was awesome after hiking Tayrona. The hammocks were super relaxing and the view of the mountains is great. The food is absolutely delicious and the rooms and beds were adequate. Like others mentioned, the WiFi is slower, but worked fine for messaging and WhatsApp. Great stay!

Great spot to spend the night before heading to Tayrona. They have filtered water and a freezer! They are also willing to store your larger backpacks during your Tayrona trek. Cocktails are delicious, especially Mojito Yuluka. Would recommend!

This place is lovely! The staff is extremely friendly and my stay here was very nice. They didn't give us a key to the shared accommodation but there were small lockers to store our stuff and keep safe. They have AC in the rooms, which is helpful since it can get pretty hot in Santa Marta. They have free shuttles in the morning to take us to the park, but you have to take your own bus back (super easy to catch from the entrance, and costs $3000 COP which is around $1 USD).

If you are going to the park and a rest before and after the hike, this is a good place for you. The hostel doesn't have wifi but has a small pool.

Nice mattresses and linens, nice to have free filtered water available. The inclusive breakfast seems lovely...many choices and a changing menu. Free laundry machine. Ride to park gates 8-8:30 in the AM helpful. Nicely designed bathroom and landscaping However the hostel is right by a very loud main road, so it feels like a truck is going to bear down on you in the dormitory. The restaurant was right over my dorm sorry pretty loud also. WiFi is also necessary to useless

The staff was nice and the beds were comfortable but it's location along the main road makes it great to get to Parque Tayrona and back to Santa Marta but very loud at night. Also there were dogs who belonged to the staff who barked most nights. The restaurant is very slow and expensive, but has good food.

Very clean, dorm rooms are quite cramped with no space to put your bags. Lockers in the dorm but half of them are blocked by a set of bunk beds. Beds comfortable and aircon and fan so cool. Cold showers. Very very loud all night with the main road and their dogs barking continually. Breakfast very good, dinner very overpriced - we ate elsewhere! Staff were lovely. Good location - 2km from national park.

    Very Good

    19 Dec 2018
Good first impression and communal facilities (kitchen, pool, hammocks, laundry machine, shuttle to the park entrance, plants) as well as nice food for dinner, BUT: no hot showers (despite advertised), no mosquito nets, very weak WiFi signal, staff not very service-oriented especially at the restaurant, dorms rather small and just next to the main road which made me feel trucks were driving through the room the whole night, and no social vibe/atmosphere. Nice place, but not what we expected.
