Great Hostel, really great location close to metro and trams! Which made it very efficient to get anywhere. Loved the atmosphere of the Hostel, had a nice high end feel to it. Definitely will stay here again!

We stayed at the ecomama for 4 nights and had a great experience! The staff is amazing, always happy to help and give to you the best recommendations for exploring the city. We slept in a mixed dorm, good beds (mattress was comfy). The hostel has a worm atmosphere (and it’s also decorated super cool) and it’s the perfect place if you’re looking to meet new people.

Very cute hostel! Lots of lockers to leave your stuff without worry, staff very nice! There was an instance, however, when my bed was mistaken for someone’s who had checked out and my towel was taken twice and my bed ended up having someone else in it, but the issue was quickly resolved and the staff were very nice about it. Pillows could have been a lot better and you can’t change the temperature of the showers which was annoying. Also, this hostel is quite quiet compared to other hostels.

Surely in my top favorite 5 hostels I’ve visited. Atmosphere is so chill and amazing. Staff is incredibly friendly and facilities are complete. I also found the interior decoration is interesting and eco-friendly. Downsides are in the rooms, there aren’t any outlets and lamps on the wall next to your bed to charge. Also, the pillow is just worn out, i couldn’t sleep well with it.

The place great, but there were a few things that weren't the best. We went for the deluxe private double, but it was much smaller than I thought it would be. There was barely enough space for both our bags, and there wasn't enough hooks for us to hang anything. We weren't able to dry our towels the whole time. Also, there was dirt all over our floor. Finally, the internet was very bad. We couldn't connect or stay connected while we were there.

Staff is amazing, super friendly and helpful. I would recommend them to hang some mirrors, it had small ones in the bathroom and one in your room, if you’re sharing it’s difficult to use. The bathrooms weren’t clean enough, I’d like them to improve on them. Use of the kitchen, good and accessible, the beds were clean, comfortable and warm. I’d stay here again.

Bit dead in terms of atmosphere. Showers were really bad we thought, water was cold and got to lukewarm at best. Location is super central. Be aware there's an additional 7% city charge not included in the place displayed by website.

BED BUGS! This hostel has bed bugs, which really put a damper on our stay in Amsterdam. The overall cleanliness was not up to par. The floor in our room was very dusty. The hand soap in the bathroom was always empty. In addition, a pipe burst in our room and dirty water dripped on our luggage/beds. Staff were not helpful, and one of them said “I’m too baked for this” when we asked for help. The photos were misleading. This place is dark as hell and is the least lively hostel I’ve stayed at.
