    Superb

Great accommodation for the fringe. It was perfect for me because I was out meeting friends, it's not the best choice if you're looking to meet people to go around the festival with but that was never my aim. Nice and safe location and as it's right by loads of bars so you don't have to go too far to have a good night!

I stayed a couple of nights to go to the festival. The hostel is very close to main venues. It was clean, quiet at night and had everything I needed . The staff were polite and helpful.

Great Location. Sinks didn’t work and the bathroom wasn’t very clean.

    Fabulous

Having stayed at this venue on another occasion I feel that this time my stay was not as comfortable. My room was situated virtually above a bar/put, and they were playing loud music way into the early hours. Four nights of this became challenging. I booked for two people, two rooms. My friend checked out after one night, due to the noise. He booked his flight and cut his stay due to the unpleasantness. The toiler also needed some general maintenance.

A really good base for a trip to the Fringe, and despite its central location it was wonderfully quiet!

Perfect for what we wanted (4 girls on a weekend away). Incredibly central and really easy to get to from the train station. The staff were friendly and helpful and the facilities were what we expected from university halls! Would definitely recommend it if visiting during the Fringe and don't want to break the budget.

Right in the city center, off the Royal Mile. Great, great location! There are 5 rooms/flat (2 shared bathrooms and a kitchen). The rooms have basic, old furnishings. All in all, it's a good accommodation for a few nights stay.

Great location in the middle of the city. Very noisy, only to be expected during the festival. My 'flatmates' were loud and messy. Kitchen and bathrooms were left dirty by them even though they were cleaned in the mornings. Rooms were basic, clean and comfortable. Only stay if you enjoyed being a student!

Standard university accommodation, not brilliantly maintained - wallpaper peeling, little bit dirty in places, usual things. After arriving I went to get my keys, the staff there were pretty rude and ignorant, shocked to look at her name badge to see she was the Duty Manager for the evening. I had to move rooms after the first night so was a little bit of an inconvenience. The pillows were shocking. Location is noisy (it overlooks Cowgate) but I knew about it so not complaining.
