Hostel was in a great location only a short walk to the beach and the centre of town. Tranquillo has the best of both hostels ran by Diablo as it is cheeper, but you get use of facilities at the beach bar one. Everything goes on a tab, which is a great idea, and you just pay at the end of your stay. There is no lockers anywhere, we were lucky to share a room with honest people so we were fine. The kitchen was small, difficult for two people to cook in, so a lot of waiting on a hob. Overall good.

The hostel was nice, the room had a good space for the number of beds, clean bathroom, good breakfast too. The only thing I think it was missing were lockers as the room doors has no keys.

Nice solid place, definitely has the feel of a modern hostel. All the staff were friendly and helpful. There was no a/c in the room but it wasn't really needed. The only drawback was the internet- when too many people are around, which is most of the day, it's virtually nonexistent, which can make planning your next moves a little tough.

Nice chilled hostel just a few minutes from the beach. We enjoyed our private room as it had a great balcony with a hammock to relax on. The kitchen is tiny and a bit dirty so we weren't keen on cooking in it but that was fine for us as we were only there for a few days.

A very friendly place with good views out the front door out to sea. Wifi was great - important for me as a digital nomad. There always seemed to be plenty going on.

    Very Good

    05 Feb 2019
Ok hostel but a few issues. Lockers under the beds are not secure - you can literally left up the mattress and grab stuff out (not ideal). Facilities are good (surf boards to rent, bikes, laundry) but all very expensive (laundry US12 per load). The kitchen is super small and at dinner it was a sh*t show to get one of the two stoves. Vibe was nice & chilled with activities like beach volleyball and dinners cooked each night but again too expensive. The hostel was clean always which was great.
