Great hostel, in a beautiful building and a super central location. The staff are all really friendly and there’s a great vibe about the place - very easy to meet people and chat. Would definitely recommend!

One of the most beautiful hostels I’ve stayed in! Homely atmosphere, kind and knowledgeable staff, great common areas and clean and comfortable rooms. El Granado is both close to the train station and the city centre, but tucked away enough that you’re not in the midst of the touristy hustle and bustle. The hostel also organises it’s own activities (like an Andalusian dinner night) which are a great way to learn about the local culture (and food) and meet fellow travellers. Not to be missed!

Great hostel, atmosphere lacked for the first two days of my stay but picked up later on. Everything is clean, plenty of washrooms and showers, Charlotte was extremely helpful when I had some problems with my flight, and the Italian dinner one of the volunteers cooked was delicious. The rooms are also air conditioned which is a plus in Granada's hot weather. I highly recommend this hostel, and will stay there again when I return to Granada! Gracias!

Security was pretty good - code to get in, reception from 8am-12am, room keys (even tho most people left room doors open, and lockers (BYO lock). I really liked the curtains on the bed & found the rooms to be an ideal temperature (air con provided!) beds comfortable however lack of space to put belongings. Location was perfect & staff super helpful (answered questions, showed me map upon arrival & stored bags after check out.) toilets were not clean enough & atmosphere was lacking. Would return!

This is a really nice place to stay. We had a double private ensuite - it was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with stong wifi, an air -conditioner and TV. The staff were helpful and the location is really good - a quiet street just a few minutes walk from all the action. One negative - on our second morning for breeakfast, the bread was not fresh, in fact it was quite stale. This was unfortuante as you pay 3euro for breakfast. But otherwise, would have no problem recommending this place.

No atmosphere! Really wanted to love this hostel but it had such a strange vibe. There weren’t activities scheduled and the bathrooms always ran out of toilet paper. Hostel was fine but would recommend going to eco hostel or elsewhere if you want a social atmosphere. Guy at front desk was kind though!
