One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at. Caty, Ana, and Eugenio are so welcoming and help you out with anything you need. The breakfast is delicious, coffee and cacao tours are on site and really interesting, and the view of the sunset is unbeatable in minca. It’s a bit of a walk from downtown minca but WELL worth it for the amazing service and views!!!

What a little slice of paradise! My friends and I stayed here for 2 nights and wished we had booked for longer. Eugenio, Ana, Caty and the whole crew at La Candelaria were so hospitable and the views from their home was unparalleled in Minca. Would 100% recommend to anyone who is fit (10-15 uphill hike to the B&B) and wants to have a magical time in Colombia. PS - the food and cacao tea are AMAZING.

I can't praise this place enough. It was absolutely perfect. When we arrived (very sweatily after the hike), we were greeted with warm smiles and a lovely cold glass of fruit juice and "help yourselves to coffee". Perfect. The bedroom was gorgeous and clean. Dinner was sublime - tastiest I've had in Colombia so far. Coffee tour is a must - so interesting! We didn't stop smiling! We will always be a special place to us and we would 100% recommend staying here. Ps - bathroom with a fab view!

Probably the most beautiful place I've ever been. It seemed like most people visited just for the day for the tours but I would highly recommend staying the night! My friend and I had been traveling in Colombia for a few weeks and stayed in inexpensive hostel dorms so this was a little out of our budget but so worth it! Amazing breakfast is included in the price as well as either the coffee or chocolate tour. It is not a hostel in any way so it's not a very social experience but very peaceful!!

I really loved my time here from the hospitality to the views. It's a ways up so you'll need to get a moto bike (15mil) which means you pay for food and drinks, but they are very well priced and delicious. It's a unique experience being on a family farm, but one worth trying. My only complaint would be the beds, which were fairly small for 2 people.

A wonderful jungle getaway! The hike up to the hostel from Minca was difficult in the heat but the reward was arriving at the B&B! Staff were amazing! Very helpful, and friendly! The food was incredible! Hiking trails around the B&B were plentiful and well marked to find! We can say so many great things about this place but you should just stay and find out for yourself!

If you are searching for a true Columbian experience, living with a charming and gentle family, then look no further. A little slice of heaven after the hustle and bustle of Santa Marta. Stay 2 nights to get the most out of your stay

Stunning location and really friendly staff (especially if you speak Spanish)! Meals are veggie but lovely and varied. You are out of town here but it's worth it to escape the tourist trail. Be aware facilities are more basic as you are staying on a real coffee farm - the shower is cold but the view makes up for it!

After reading numerous glowing reviews we were significantly disappointed (as was another couple staying). The family was generally not hospitable & barely ever spoke with us. Rooms are mediocre at best- solely paying for the view here. It is located one hour (hiking up the mountain) from Minca @ a STEEP incline. This ‘B & B’ is primarily a coffee and cocoa farm w/ daily tours. We had read in other reviews that one of the tours was inc. in the price but it was not. Would not recommend staying.
