Ellison was more than sweet and her home was very welcoming. The location is also right in between a lot of provincial parks and downtown, it was perfect. If I ever come back to Vancouver, I will definitely try to stay here again!

This was a nice house but I would absolutely not call it a hostel. This is single family home where a woman lives and rents out bedrooms. The bathroom is clean however there is only one. There was a desk in the room- we were told we could not put items on it and that none of our things could touch her the walls. I felt confined to our room and was a bit uncomfortable when wanting to go out and arrive back late or chat past 10. Not a laid back place where you want to hang just plan to sleep here.

    Very Good

Just outside of Vancouver in a nice neighbourhood, unfortunately they are demolishing more then halve of all the old nice houses in this neighbourhood to bad. Nice woman good price, all things considering, it is way to hard and way to expensive to find a place in Vancouver to stay one or two nights. Would recommend if you are only staying one or two nights, and just need a place to rest your head. Thank you. : )

Really good if you just need a comfortable place to stay. Really clean bedroom area. I stayed with my boyfriend. We were initially disgruntled that the owner didn't let us use her kitchen to cook when other reviewers said they had used the kitchen before. We didn't have much money to go out to eat and she was nice enough to let us use her kitchen to cook. Everything ended up working out, I just recommend you email the owner beforehand which I made the mistake of not doing.
