A great place to stay, spacious and friendly. About a 10 min walk from busy Liverpool areas, with very easy check in and our procedures. Very helpful and social staff.

I flew in from Chicago to Liverpool for a Liverpool FC match. Look I am going to be completely honest. This hostel provides the bare basics. It is an old building with old building problems. Creaky floors, drafty windows, and a toilet that may or may not have issues if you drop a big load. But for the price and you are staying there a night or two, it is okay. Nothing more, nothing less. Just regular. Although, the staff were very friendly and very helpful.

    Very Good

Stayed here for a weekend while visiting Liverpool. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and there was always someone there to help you out when needed. The location is pretty good, the hostel is in a lovely house in a very nice area which is a cool 20 minute walk to the city centre. They offer tea, coffee and snacks for free at all hours and have various other items for sale. Some areas that could use improvement though is the cleanliness, luggage storage and more bathrooms.

Honestly one of the worst hostels I’ve stayed in. The whole place was very dark, dirty, and unsafe. The entrance is left open 24/7 onto a Main Street. Defiantly would not stay as a young female, felt totally unsafe. There was also female only facilities e.g. toilets, I appreciated, but when I went to use them a man was in there. If I didn’t come with my friend, I probably would’ve left. The whole place looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. Staff were welcoming and nice.

I do not like giving bad reviews, but it was the worst hostel I have ever stayed in. The hostel was full of long-term stayers, even a dude that was not booked in slept in the room. Doors stay 24h open, absolutely insecure. Bathroom was a mess and did not have light (shower in the dark was a challenge), at least there was warm water. The poor thing staff tried to be helpful, as much as he could, so I appreciate that. But, I do not recommend this place to anyone, for your own sake.
