Very friendly and vibrant hostel in a fantastic location in the heart of Liverpool. Really enjoyed my stay with all staff making me feel very welcome. Big shout out to Kev who is a great bloke who knows all things Liverpool like the back of his hand and even shared a few drinks with him. Look forward to returning for future trips to Merseyside!

Been backpacking across the UK and this is the first hostel where I felt like home. As soon as you walk in Kevin treats you like family. Great atmosphere no matter the time. Everyone comes down in the evening to enjoy a pint. Highly recommend staying here.

It wasn't that bad except because the door from our room was open all the time, not feeling safe for my stuff and myself. They didn't give me any code for the room or key, anything. One of the guys was really kind, the other didn't bother at all, not a single "hi" or anything, bad faces that's what he showed to me. Apparently I suppose to have free breakfast but I didn't see anything and anyone say anything to me, I know I was shy to ask but the only guy there was the "bad face" one.

That was one of the worst hostel I've been in my life. Everything was dirty, I couldn't stop sneeze, the shower wasn't hot, it was warm/cold, the water wasn't been properly drained, the staff kept asking so many questions at my check in, wanted to know all my activities, it quite scared me, doing bad jokes, forcing to be nice. I shared the room with loud women which 6am was like in a party at the room, someone puked on the room. It was awful... I won't return and I don't recommend.

Mould, Damp, Unclean, unsafe, unsecure, uninhabitable, noisy, unpleasant, stained bedding, rubbish left in the room, no en-suite, filthy toilet & shower, poor security (strangers being let into our 'private' room. This place is not deserving of its 2 star rating by any deffinition - the only thing going for it is the location found on a leafy square (20 min walk to city centre). I would highly recomend you look beyond the clearly self-posted 5 star reviews for this place You have been warned
