Decent place for travellers in Trujillo, half a block from the main Plaza de Armas. Wifi is good, beds are comfy. Showers were cold though, and it’s not a very social hostel so bear that in mind

The girl in charge was always cleaning. Every time I saw her she was cleaning. Warm shower only first thing in the morning, but worth getting up for.

This is a decent hostel- I only stayed for an overnight between busses going north. The room are large with basic beds, and bathrooms were just okay. Not super social or lively, but definitely a good place to chill and relax if needed.

The hostel is really close to the main square. There’s a good large seating area. It was pretty quiet when we stayed so not much atmosphere. The kitchen didn’t seem too well equipped for cooking so we ate out.

    Very Good

Only used this hostel as a stopover on our way to quayaquil from Lima. No atmosphere but that’s do to this being a stopover place rather than a destination. Good kitchen and brilliant WiFi. Comfy beds and BYO drink. Only complaint was no hot water in all three showers when I tried. Might have just been the time of day. Great for a 1 night recharge stop

    Very Good

We stayed for two nights and got a free upgrade to a private room because the staff had double booked the rooms. Not a bad deal for us though. Dorms where ok as well, comfy beds. No fans so the rooms get really warm so we ended up sleeping with the door open in the private room. The staff wasn’t very friendly and didn’t say much. There were a lot of people staying at the hostel but everyone kind of kept to themselves and the atmosphere was a little awkward. Overall, a good stop for a lay over.

Nice owners, good location and place to hang your clothes to dry. BUT disappointing as either their cat or pest decided to rip open a bag of bread rolls I had on my bed and eat them leaving a mess. When I told the staff what happened the lady didn't apologize and eventually said ' what is it that you want? Money back for your bread? '.... Really no apology or care for the fact that my bed was now filthy and clearly some pest had been on my bed.

Weird place, was glad to not have stayed long. The front door was always locked, even during the day so you always had to ring the doorbell to get in. It was a pretty run down place but the ladies kept it clean enough... the dorm rooms were separated by a wall that had a large gap at the top so voices and snoring echoed which was not good. Very close to the main square though! Better off going to Huanchaco if you’re a backpacker staying for longer than a night.
