Property Description

Equity Point Marrakech is an incredible Spa hostel (swimming pool, Hammam, Massages, etc...) just few minutes from the famous Jemaa El Fna square.
If you find yourself lost upon arriving in Marrakech, just look at the locals with a lost face, you'll see that they will automatically point you towards Plaza Djemaa el-Fna, without a doubt, the very centre of Marrakech. Barely 300 metres away, the new Equity Point Marrakech hostel appears like a sanctuary for travellers, with 4 to 10 bed dorms, doubles and singles. No detail or decoration has been forgotten.

Its rooms have full bathrooms and exquisite furnishings, sofas, cushions, mirrors and paintings. Impressive common areas have provided to unwind from the frenetic pace of the city whilst getting to know people from all over the world.

You'll also be able to enjoy our swimming pool, so remember to take your swimming costume with you. In a typical year the swimming pool will be open from April to October, but it mostly depends on the weather. You'll be able to enjoy it daily from 10am to 6pm.
You will discover our amazing swimming pool in an arcade courtyard with a typical Moroccan fountain. A bath in an atmosphere you'll always remember.

At night you will be able to enjoy the peace and silence of the Riad's softly lit inner courtyard, or if you prefer, take in the amazing views from the rooftop terrace while enjoying a beer or refreshment from the bar. Rachida, our expert Moroccan cook, can prepare you amazing traditional meals.

The Equity Point group has put all its experience into the design of this hostel to set the standard in the city for travellers who are searching for a unique and authentic experience.

The city of Marrakech combines perfectly the increasing modernity visible in the new city, with one of the most emblematic historic centres of the world. The new surrounding areas, tourist centres, stores and big avenues like Mohamed V are strikingly contrasted with the old walled city and the Medina, where time seems to have stopped some centuries ago. The endless labyrinth of the Soug market streets north of the Plaza Jemaa el-Fna and all its hustle and bustle, the narrow streets and frescoes where only lost tourists looking for their riad and the odd cat break the silence.

Let yourself be seduced by the contrasts, colours and smells of the Medina. Immerse yourself in the fascinating activities taking on the mythical Plaza Djemaa el-Fna, the only place in the world where every day of the year you can find snake charmers, dozens of stores selling fresh juice, restaurants, bars, musicians, traditional water-sellers and acrobats.

The Equity Point group welcomes you to its newest destination city, we hope to be able to share it with you soon.

Awesome hostel!! The rooms were as expected - bunk beds, large lockers, etc. But the common areas were to die for! The pool are was soo incredibly beautiful and relaxing, the rooftop areas (loungers, restaurant, view of the city) was gorgeous. There were also a lot of cute smaller lounge areas throughout the hostel to relax which was really nice to get out of the rooms and relax around the hostel when you needed a quiet moment. Overall, I would 100% recommend this to everyone and anyone!

Def, one of the greatest hostels I’ve ever stayed at. Not only is it beautiful but the amenities are fantastic: pool, rooftop lounge area, bar, restaurant, spa services, etc. The staff is very nice/helpful and love that they sell water and drinks at the front and that you’re able to pay with card! (Huge plus in Marrakech) The only negative thing to say was that you are only able to lock the room door from the inside with a key and some windows didn’t have a screen (bit unsafe). Would recommend!

Great staff, incredible facilities, and practically a 5-star-hotel experience for hostel prices. The location is also extremely central.

Great common spaces. It is really good that the rooms have lockers and they give you just a key for that. The only downside is that beds could have closer power outlets and somewhere to put your phone at least without worrying about it falling down

A super hostel where our double room was comfortable and bright, right beside the pool. We watched a Youtube video which showed how to get there and this really helped! Lovely, heloful staff and good dinners.

Lovely hostel with a pool, airconditioned rooms, spa/hammam and restaurant onsite. I had a massage which I highly recommend. The Hammam was closed for Ramadan :( The only issue for me is that it is very difficult to find. Top tip, ask someone in a restaurant or Riad for directions. The stall owners in the Souk will offer to help but charge for the service. Look up: there are signs on the archways if you can find them. Good Luck!

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. I had so many questions and they were always more than welcoming. My only complaint would be that we took the shuttle from the hostel to the airport and we left 20 minutes late because one group was not on time. I wish that there was a smaller grace period for people who are late as we have scheduled flights.

Would definitely stay there again. It’s extremely hard to find when you first go there but you get used to the route after a couple of days. But it’s cheap, it’s clean, it’s fairly central and it has a swimming pool. It also serves beer during Ramadan. I have no complaints.

Perfect hostel for relaxing. I've stayed here 2 nights in a 4 beds room. The bed was comfy enough, same with the pillow. The bathroom was clean. The breakfast was good, with eggs and everything; not expensive. The location is ok, inside the medina. Very hard to find though, especially at night. It's not a very social hostel, but overall it's worth it for a couple of days for relaxing. I recommend it.

Location: The only bad thing about this place is it’s in the Medina. (And not easy to locate). You feel unsafe walking around trying to find it especially as a solo female traveller. A guy I met said he asked for directions from this one guy, and he led him to a corner where two other guys were waiting for him. He lost all the money he had on him and was left feeling unsafe. My advise: Don’t ask for directions (use instead. Don’t walk around when there are not many other tourists
