Property Description

Equity Point Marrakech is an incredible Spa hostel (swimming pool, Hammam, Massages, etc...) just few minutes from the famous Jemaa El Fna square.
If you find yourself lost upon arriving in Marrakech, just look at the locals with a lost face, you'll see that they will automatically point you towards Plaza Djemaa el-Fna, without a doubt, the very centre of Marrakech. Barely 300 metres away, the new Equity Point Marrakech hostel appears like a sanctuary for travellers, with 4 to 10 bed dorms, doubles and singles. No detail or decoration has been forgotten.

Its rooms have full bathrooms and exquisite furnishings, sofas, cushions, mirrors and paintings. Impressive common areas have provided to unwind from the frenetic pace of the city whilst getting to know people from all over the world.

You'll also be able to enjoy our swimming pool, so remember to take your swimming costume with you. In a typical year the swimming pool will be open from April to October, but it mostly depends on the weather. You'll be able to enjoy it daily from 10am to 6pm.
You will discover our amazing swimming pool in an arcade courtyard with a typical Moroccan fountain. A bath in an atmosphere you'll always remember.

At night you will be able to enjoy the peace and silence of the Riad's softly lit inner courtyard, or if you prefer, take in the amazing views from the rooftop terrace while enjoying a beer or refreshment from the bar. Rachida, our expert Moroccan cook, can prepare you amazing traditional meals.

The Equity Point group has put all its experience into the design of this hostel to set the standard in the city for travellers who are searching for a unique and authentic experience.

The city of Marrakech combines perfectly the increasing modernity visible in the new city, with one of the most emblematic historic centres of the world. The new surrounding areas, tourist centres, stores and big avenues like Mohamed V are strikingly contrasted with the old walled city and the Medina, where time seems to have stopped some centuries ago. The endless labyrinth of the Soug market streets north of the Plaza Jemaa el-Fna and all its hustle and bustle, the narrow streets and frescoes where only lost tourists looking for their riad and the odd cat break the silence.

Let yourself be seduced by the contrasts, colours and smells of the Medina. Immerse yourself in the fascinating activities taking on the mythical Plaza Djemaa el-Fna, the only place in the world where every day of the year you can find snake charmers, dozens of stores selling fresh juice, restaurants, bars, musicians, traditional water-sellers and acrobats.

The Equity Point group welcomes you to its newest destination city, we hope to be able to share it with you soon.

Equity Point was difficult to get to but once you get the lay of the land, it's really easy to get to the Medina and other main sights from here. i was nervous as a solo woman travelling and this hostel was the best decision I made. It set the tone for the trip and all three folks that worked the front desk were amazing and went out of their way multiple times to ensure my safety and comfort. I not once felt unsafe within this hostel or area. It made my trip to Marrakesh truly wonderful!!

I was very happy with this hostel! Good staff, clean rooms and beautiful architecture. The only thing I did not like, was that there have been very few vegan options for breakfast... Overall I was very satisfied.

    1) the hostel is strategically located in the medina which is only 400 meters to the big djemma square. I walked there every night. However, getting lost is regular for visitors, so be careful of over friendly scams who walk follow you and try to show you path because they will charge you with high Durham. 2) Atmosphere is superb, Moroccan photogenic style. Very value for money. They also arrange desert day trip (join group). Very convenient at low price. 3) Breakfast is nothing to expect.

Booked this after a terrible experience at a different hostel in the medina. Finding this place is sooo difficult, even after you’ve been there. But it is BEAUTIFUL, clean, amazing shower. It’s worth it but if you are alone I don’t recommend looking for it in the dark. You can also buy meals there for relatively cheap.

    Fabulous

My 10 friends and I had a great time in Marrakech. Our stay at Equity Point made us feel safe in the center of the busy market district. The staff was very helpful giving us tips and even communicating with our tour company. The only setback was that the hostel has two entrances. One of the entrances was closed so finding the place for the first time was quite difficult. This allowed locals to lead us to the door only to ask for money in return. Besides this, the place offered great accommodations.

The hostel is right in the middle of the medina, so great for exploring. But it's quite hard to find. Taxis will drop you around a 10 min walk away so travel light. It's quite well lit, so security isn't a problem. The facilities are great, pool, huge terrace, hot showers, clean bathrooms, air-con, washing machines and even cooking facilities. I would suggest contacting the hostel to arrange an airport pickup and for someone to meet you to guide you there, especially if you're arriving late.

    Good

The place is cool, the location is great and if you go following maps.me directions you won’t have problems finding it! Stayed for 3 nights and I had a problem with my bed on the second night. They gave me a bed that was already taken when I did the check in (it was 1am) so I took the bed available in the dorm. The people in the be that was signed for me left on the next day and my towel, flip flops were gone. Talked to the staff and they were very helpful (if course it was their mistake)

Me and my brother were accommodated in a corner room that had no windows or any sort of source of sun light and fresh air except the entry door. For the two nights spent there we were bitten all over by beg bugs, from which my brother got an allergic reaction and his body was covered with big red itchy spots for 3-4 days after.
