Had an awesome time! Very clean, staff was super nice and helpful. Went out of their way to order us food to get delivered to hostel and asked the tuk tuk driver to buy us smokes on the way. Super accommodating and helpful. Room was spotless.

We had a great time in Hostel Estaciones. It's a bit far from the centre and the most tourist attractions, but the view from the hostel and the relaxed atmosphere is amazing. The hostel is huge, but at the last day of our stay we were the only guests, so it was like a private house.

We had a nice stay here, kitchen is well equipped, so 5 persons could prepare food at the same time. It's more or less 25 - 30 minutes walk from Guatape, but the view is fantastic.

Good experience! wonderfull place, with great view! I loved that you had to walk 15-20 minuts to get to center. You get the experience of the local culture through the neighbors. The hostel seemed as a place where a lot of locals went on weekend vacation, which didn’t bother us. But if you travel alone, this is not the place you find other backpackers.

Cons: Kitchen was quite dirty with very basic equipment. The fridge had not been cleaned out in ages. There always seemed to be dishes in the sink but found out it wasn't the guests but the volunteers. Not enough full time staff. Owner depending on volunteers too much to keep things up. Pros: Having said that, vibes were great and volunteers were very cool. Pool, view. Location out in nature rather than in town. It's only a 15 min downhill walk and you can get a tuk tuk back up.

Very nice hostel up on the hillside. It was very clean and had a big, open kitchen out-of-doors. The location was quite far from town, ~20 minutes walking, uphill. I was aware of this when booking, but it gets quite dark at night. The plus is that this meant a nice, quiet sleep! They offer tours and a basic breakfast of eggs and toast for 6000 COP. Overall was nice but wish I had stayed closer to town and my booking wasn't flexible.

The hostel is pretty cool but the staff are useless - and fair enough too since they are only travellers passing through. They couldn’t give us any info on how long it will take to get to get to the airport, and then, after organising a car to come and pick us up at 6am, they were not around to let us out. We rang the doorbell and yelled and yelled and in the end we had to throw our luggage over the 10ft locked gate then climb over it ourselves - it was not easy and just ridiculous.

As I started the check-in, the receptionist told me my booking was changed. They moved me from a private room with a private bathroom, to a shared room and shared bathroom. The girl said that there was another reservation coming in and that reservation was more important than mine. So basically I could only stay one night in the room I originally booked and then I had to change because other people were arriving. Then they told me that if I was not happy about the situation I should leave.
