HUGE hostel with a gorgeous location right at the river. Everything was clean and comfortable. My only minor complaint is that we weren’t notified of the construction going on behind the building - there were jackhammers waking us up at 7:30 AM! I know it’s not the Hostel’s doing or fault, but some advanced warning would have been appreciated.

Euro hostel is a great place to stay for a break or just a stop over. Based in a handy location for gigs, shopping and onward travel anywhere in Scotland. Great place to start your adventure with comfy beds and plenty of room choices from privates to dorms.

Wonderful place to stay! I stayed in a 4 bed female dorm and it was high quality and well maintained! It was right on the river and very close to all the attractions in Glasgow. I am exceptionally pleased with this hostel.

Rather big hostel in a very good location, close to the central station of Glasgow. Rooms are access-controlled with key cards, but no lockers or safes, at least in my (4 bed) room. The shower was mouldy (no ventilation) and there was no toilet brush. The breakfast for 5 pounds was okay, the usual continental stuff and also some warm food (baked beans, scrambled eggs, sausages, some mysterious meaty stuff - haggis?).

Overall a good hostel. The other reviews on here are pretty accurate: the beds are painful if spending more than 2 nights and there are not nearly enough lockers for everyone. However, there were two toilets and two showers for an 8 person dorm which was incredibly convenient. They're good showers too and are clean as long as your bunk buddies don't fling hair everywhere. Location is great, sits at the bottom of Glasgow CBD. If you like pubs, they have an extensive one attached.

Had a good stay at Glasgow Eurohostel. Seems like it has a crazy amount of beds on 9 different floors. All in all I was missing some atmosphere. Staff were helpful but otherwise nothing extraordinary. The rooms were very clean. The 4 lockers in the 12 bed room 501 seemed to be out of order and could not be locked with a pad lock. I can recommend the Discover Scotland Tours they offer.

This was I think my 7th stay in this hostel but this time was a bit disappointing. The room was not very clean and kitchen was very dirty. It looks like nobody has cleaned it for ages. Also, it is very loud during the night when people return drunk from their night out (somebody vomited near the elevators on my 1st night). I think that more security would help. Also, the bar from downstairs (Mint and Lime) is a bit sketchy as anybody can use it, not only people from the hostel. Food is great.

Large hostel spread over several floors. The suites were different. It had a hallway inside the room with a door leading to the bathroom, another to the dorm, and another to a tv room. Each suite appeared to have this. A lot of doors without labels so it made it difficult locating the amenities. They charge for leaving your bags after check out: £2. Over charge for breakfast: £5. Kitchen was dirty with food all over the floor.

Most negative was the security, did not feel all that safe. Also sleeping was an issue and cleanliness. But, is close to the centre and all Beer is going for £2.95. Recomend more for group of friends as opposed to singular backpackers, and would only come back again with a group of friends and when not bothered about sleep.
