    Fabulous

I had a good stay! The staff are very friendly but the organisation could be better - sometimes overbooking and leaving customers without beds (but this appears to be an issue with most hostels). There are good kitchen facilities and enough showers to get the job done, but these were cold on occasion, again, not the hostels fault really. The hostel walls etc are in need of a little TLC but my bed was comfortable, ready to use on arrival and with clean sheets. Thus great value 😁 thanks guys 😁

I chose the Fat Camel because it was the cheapest hostel, and all I needed was a place to rest my head for a few hours before catching the airport bus early in the morning. In this regard, it was very suitable, as the bed was clean and comfortable and the bus stop was just a minute's walk away. However, there was no sense of community or even friendliness, and I was glad I didn't have to shower. The facilities were passable but the rooms were stuffy and stank of perfumed cleaning products.

Good central location but with a strange atmosphere, the rooms were very hot, at least in my case, with most not even having a window, comfy beds and decent amount of space.

It's in a good location and safe enough but it's so disgusting & dirty. No windows in kitchen area and some of the rooms. Kitchen is grubby and worst of all is the bathroom! Clearly never gets cleaned, shower floods and it is so hot & stuffy. Definitely wouldn't stay here again I'm afraid.

Didn’t really enjoy my stay, left after one night instead of seven. They couldn’t find my booking when I arrived and I got put in a larger share room that expected, however I wasn’t given any great gastos about receiving a refund. The hostel is set up into “apartments’’ but has no lockers, two showers between countless rooms, a tiny kitchenette, no windows (!!!) or windows that only open a crack, and the vibe is pretty s*** too. Too many laminated signs with instructions on them, hated it.

When we arrive we found out that they had over booked us and that we have been booked in at another hostel 10mins away. We choose the Fat Camel for its proximity to bars and restaurants which took us away from those. We weren't offered any transport and had to ask for directions instead of them being offered. When arrived at the 'other' place, found we were only booked in for one night instead of two. Thankfully they could fit us in but meant we were in separate rooms.
