Hostelworld says

Malaga is a city known in equal measure for its culture and party atmosphere, and the Feel Hostel City Centre is the ideal spot to explore it from. As many guests attest to, it's a hostel with a lot of charm. It's lively but not raucous, with a cocktail bar where you can easily make new friends. It's also only a stone's throw away from all the most famous sights, like the Picasso museum (Malaga's favourite son) and cathedral. The beach bars aren't too far away either, so you won't be short of things to do, day or night.

Kind and helpful staff, nice showers with hot water, big and clean kitchen for cooking ur own food, fast wifi, perfect location and all that for a good price. I liked it a lot. The only thing that was a bit challenging, was the cold in the room at night. I was lucky to stay there when season is still low, so got to share the room only with one more person, so got to take few blankets for myself, otherwise might have froze. Anyway, thanks for the experience, was nice!

Great location. Keep in mind that showers lack hot water. Stayed there 3 days and hot water lasted about a minute into each shower.

The hostel was in an amazing location and the building was nice. It was very cheap and the staff were nice by letting us have our own room due to the lack of people their (it was winter). The kitchen was well equipt although dirty. The bathroom was okay although the shower was broken meaning you had to hold it up yourself and the water took so long to warm up (my shower was too short for it to warm up). I appear to have bought some bedbug's back aswell, enough said about the bedrooms 😅

Gone downhill abit over the last six years. Admin/Mgt staff never cheerful, seem tired, can`t bother with things like replacing dud lightbulbd so very gloomy in th evenings. The `paid volunteers are good company but their only role is chambermaiding. The communal areas are nothing to warm to. Adequate, but what a pity the owners seemd tired of their role

It was pretty dirty and the rooms were pretty dingy. It was clear they didn’t clean the bathrooms or do any maintenance around the property. However, the free sangria was nice and the people at the hostel were friendly. Definitely just a place to sleep and then leave

There were only like 2 outlets per room and with 6 people this is rather difficult to manage. Additionally, the area was so loud and busy

The only good thing: location. The vibe was so creepy. The entire hostel is very dark. Strange people hanging around. Not to mention that the facilities were not clean and not kept well (showers not working, most hobs in kitchen not working, our door lock also not working and had to insert the card 5 times for it to open...). As a solo female traveler I will not return here.

    1. Dirty and broken showers. 2. Dirty toilets with no toilet roll. 3. Bad atmosphere - guests made us feel uncomfortable, stood outside talking very late at night. 4. Rude staff except for one guy and one girl who were friendly and welcoming. 5. Breakfast was very bad. 6. Cleanliness was overall very poor.
