Hostelworld says

If you're interested in historical Dublin, Four Courts Hostel is a good place from which to start; they're near Christchurch Cathedral, the Guinness Storehouse, the Brazen Head (Dublin's oldest pub) and the Jameson Distillery. We like their large movie room with couches in the basement, described by one Hostelworld user as having 'loads of communal space to relax and unwind'. Our visitors have said their staff are 'funny and friendly' and 'wonderful and so helpful'; they host free BBQs, pub crawls and walking tours so you can explore Dublin and meet other travellers as well.

The second hostel I stayed at in Dublin, and the one I loved. The reception were lovely and so helpful. Great location, a short walk to temple bar and various sights. 10-bed mixed wasn’t great for the snoring and the bed was not comfy but the 16-bed female was surprisingly cosy and comfortable. Underbed cages and little ledges and lights with each bed. Hostel was always warm enough and the included breakfast was great, incl. gluten free options upon request. Definitely would stay again.

I Cant fault the hostel in any way just that if there was a couple of guitars around to play like in quite a few hostels , it would be a great way to relax. Maybe there were only I couldnt find them. The breakfast was a bit lacking.Staff were lovely. Other than that, no issues at all.

Third time staying in this hostel in a time span of 7 years. Of course I could see how some things are a bit aged but I still think that Four Courts is pretty good value for the money. The staff was as friendly and helpful as always (specially that really nice Galician girl!) and the hostel doesn't have any luxuries, but it's clean. Keep it up, people!

lovely clean hostel with friendly staff. Prices have gone up a lot over the last few years which is disappointing, but not surprising. We would stay again.

One of my worst experience ever according to staying night in hostel! I have to say, that only thing which was fine was the staff. But the rest was a disaster at all.... In the bathroom there was flood, I mean the level of the water on the ground was cca 10 centimeters high, and the structure of the rooms is also very bad. Everytime, someone just opened the door, complain, was disturbing another people by speaking, making noise, I slept overall about 3,5 hours instead of 8... No big deal

I was very happy to arrive at this hostel the staff were very friendly and the hostel was in a perfect location! Unfortunately, the cleanliness of this place really tainted my experience... the toilet leaked EVERYWHERE so it was not possible to use the showers nor basin areas and the toilet was even leaking towards the bedrooms. I mentioned this to the staff but we were not offered any alternative bathrooms and thus I did not shower for my whole stay. I got sick after staying here.

It's literally just a bunch of weird people living in a hostel. There's needles and meth heads hanging outside, because it's next door to a homeless and drug Rehab centre. Literally couldn't have felt more awkward at a place, worst vibe I've seen in 10 months of travel. The facilities are fine and it's clean but you can't use the kitchen, because there's so many people living at the hostel. Fridges are full and it's cramped. I would rather join the homeless drugos outside than stay here.
