We were very pleased to be at Freedom traveller. Free WiFi. Free coffee and pastries for breakfast. Free WINE !! every night for happy hour. On top of all this, we lost the SIM tray from a brand new IPHONE in our room. After we had checked out, the staff had found and saved it for us to pick up! Excellent service. Don't hesitate to stay here 😊

The doors are keys locks but most people don’t lock them when they leave your room. Also not a very social hostel. Very close to the train station

Location is good and linen is clean. The rest is far below expectations. The kitchen was so filthy that I rewashed everything before I used it, barely any crockery or cutlery anyway. Glasses were still dirty and in the cupboard. Stove top greasy. There was a half eaten apple on the counter for the full 3 days I was there. No music or vibe at all. Not somewhere you could settle in after a long day. 2 nights max.

Freedom Traveller says

I think one of the things our guests really appreciate about our hostel is our wonderful outdoor garden - it's a rarity here in the centre of Rome. We organise happy hours every evening, with free wine and snacks.
Within 20 minutes' walk you will get to the Roman Forum, Piazza di Spagna and the Trevi Fountain - and within 10 minutes you can get to Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica! I particularly recommend visiting the medieval neighbourhood of Trastevere.
Our hostel is perfect for all kind of travellers, as long as they're laid back and want to have fun. We get guests aged anywhere between 20 and 40 but the majority are in their 20s. We also cater for people with disabilities as the first floor of our hostel is facilitated for people in wheelchairs. Johnny, Manager
