Really comfortable futon/bed. Nice environment, it's located inside a shopping street and within walking distance of a mall, park, train station. Really friendly staff as well

Great location. Located less than 20 min to maizuru and right next to all of the shrines and temples. Highly recommend this place to stay!

Convenient location near Canal City, clean bathrooms, well-equipped kitchen with induction stove. Wifi works well in both the common areas and the rooms (if you can't get on, ask them to restart the router). The dorms are futon-style so a bit firm, but each bed is in a large cubby with a curtain. Mine even had enough room to keep my bag inside, beside the bed. Easy access to the airport via short walk + subway.

I liked this, the single room with bunk bed was good as my wife and I were able to share the bottom double sized bed. The room facilities were a bit older and private shower is a bit cramped, but we appreciated having a private shower period! The location was awesome, located in the middle of a covered shopping Street. There's groceries really close by, canal City close by, as well as the yatai food stalls.

Best location indeed. Hana hostel located in Kawabata shopping arcade and closed to Kudhida shrine, Canal City and Nakasu (famous riverside ramen cart and nightlife area). Subway station is in 5-minute walking distance. Tenjin is just 1 station away. I recommended anyone to try 290-yen ramen from 24-hour ramen shop near a hostel inside an arcade. Absolutely tasty and valuable.

Exceeded expectations with regards to the check-in process, cleanliness, and amenities provided (body soap, shampoo, spacious shower area for changing, and racks to put your stuff on). The location is almost on the doorstep of Kushida shrine and is a great base for exploring the heritage area, eating some (overpriced) yatai I.e. street food at Nakagawa, or going shopping at Canal City. It is located within a Japanese shopping street, minutes from a 24h supermarket and drugstore as well as Daiso.

I love this place! It’s located in a convenient location for food and shopping. Was only there for one night but if there was more to do in the city I would’ve stayed longer! Also they have the cutest puppy!!

Brief stay but it is a nice hostel. It was very warm in the dorm room but the bed was comfy. Floor space was cramped due to all the bags. Shower facilities were fine. Basic but small kitchen and dining area. Good WiFi. The staff were fabulous and very helpful.

Very clean but small common area and kitchen. Lock boxes in each bunk, though nowhere to put your bags in the small room. Friendly staff, clean facilities, not much atmosphere but nice and quiet. Great food nearby- including an awesome tiny bar/restaurant (turn right out of the hostel and left down the alley after the shrine entrance. It's on your left with drawings on the glass windows!) All in all, a good stay!
