Its a very nice and warm place, I have been received by a friendly, helpful and a cheerful staff, these are some of the characteristics of this mystic city. They also do some alternative activties like yoga, dance, acrobatics, and are very aware of the local and general culture, education and respect for the environment and it is very inspiring !! Its really worth to know this place!! Its worderful!!

Stayed for carnaval and it wasn't a crazy place, so that was nice, but it was still a fun place to be. It's a family owned hostel. The kids are there in the daytime. Plenty of positives here. Nice owner! Negatives include the bathrooms and toilets not flushing, and only being located on the ground floor with all the rooms being upstairs, and the showers weren't great. Also the 'walls' were mostly just sheets from room to room.

A beautiful hostel located in the very centre of historical Salvador, with a lovely staff, always ready to help, and with a good knowledge of the area. Not a place to go if you expect a breakfast with five kinds of fruit and a chocolate on your pillow every morning, but simple and basic, and very good at offering precisely that! I loved my stay there and in fact am already planning to return there. Thank you very much and até mais!

Hello everyone! Fusion is definitely THE PLACE if you feel exploring the charming centre of Salvador with no stress and with a deeper understanding of the local culture. The staff is welcoming and extremely helpful in giving tips on what to see/do and the Bahian lifestyle. There`` is enough space for relaxing but also an open space that is used for cultural activities. If you really hate noise, bring earplugs because the center of Salvador is known for its wonderful music scene ENJOY :)

Perfect location in Pelourinho. The guesthouse is a really cool edgy place to stay and staff are really helpful. Only one toilet and shower (one for men and one for women) which are on the ground floor. Kitchen is not great facilities and outside in the courtyard. Overall a comfortable stay here and perfect for a non fussy traveler

The hostel is not a common hostel. Seems to be also a Cultural Center where you can learn music, dance, capoeira etc... ,so if you don't want to shake your habits better to find something else. I liked this place for the location, the space and the atmosphere a little bit "laid back" . All depends people your find there : with respectful, mature and stimulating people, the place could be great. In my case, it was a little bit annoying about the kitchen, but globally the experience was quite goo

The hostel was really well located - lots going on around all the time but can be noisy late into night. It's a big loft that has a lot of beautiful space to hang out in upstairs. The washrooms are quite dirty, and the kitchen is right next to a sewage duct, so it's really smelly. Not a place for people who need clean. Hostel volunteers were really great but I witnessed an interaction where a young woman was kicked out seemingly unfairly because of a staff's ego, so be aware of that beforehand.

This hostel is not finished yet. It might be nice in a year or so, but currently it is still under construction. It lacks bathrooms on the 2nd floor where the dorms are, so a you have to go down 2 floors to take a pee. The building is beautiful but it lacks atmosphere...

The location is awesome to whom wants to be in Pelourinho. However, the place has no structure to be a hostel. No fan in the room for 8 people, so I struggled to sleep. Don't drink much water before you go to bed because the toilets are 2 floors down. And some days there are dance classes at 9 am with music out loud waking everyone in the hostel up. I understand that's kind of a cultural place in an old building, but it could be better.

I had an extremely awarful experience in this place. I arrived for check in and the owner was not there. Arrived two hours late and was very dismissive and disrespectful. The place doesn’t accept credit card. I had to pay for one night and go after cash. Bathroom is dirty and kitchen has no structure to attend guests at all. Stay away from this place! A final noté: this is supposed to be an alternative/cultural project but the truth is that this is just a badly-designed hostal!
