So far, the best hostel I've stayed in. They don't have the bunk beds, only the one level of beds, and each is separated from the others by a wall and a curtain - I loved that. I got a really good sleep there. And a huge bonus - no smell of male socks!! The staff was very friendly, and when I asked if they could securely keep my laptop while I travel, they helped me with that as well.

Great location in the San Blas District. Five minutes walk to the Square. Great security. Hot water. Very nice staff. Good value for the money. Has a nice courtyard and a good kitchen. My breakfast was included.

Loved the hostel. We stayed in the private room and it was nice to have all the space. The ceilings are a bit short so if you're a taller person (I am 5 ft 6in) it might be difficult to stand all the way up at times. The bathroom was also very nice, however, the roof isn't completely sealed so you can just hear everything. Not a big deal though and lots of natural light. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

All of the fantastic reviews for this place are spot ON. It’s in such a beautiful area of Cuzco. It’s just a few minute walk from the main plaza square. Not to mention you can walk right up to Cristo Blanco and Saqsaywaman. The staff make this place though, they go above and beyond to help in any and every way possible! Especially Fernando who has given us great recommendations and also helped us print all of our Machu Picchu tickets. This is the place to stay in Cuzco!

I wish they would've had some vegan options included in the complimentary breakfast. Some avocado or fruit would've sufficed. Great staff, and I would recommend Gaia House to anyone visiting Cusco.

This is a really nice, clean, chilled hostel. We were recommended it by friends and were not disappointed. The staff are friendly, and they make a good free breakfast. The private room with en suite bathroom we had was the biggest we've had in 6 months, and included a living room! We also stayed in a private room with a shared bathroom which was also good. There wasn't a busy social atmosphere which suited us at the time, but the common area is nice and conducive to meeting other travelers.

Quiet place to sleep with more privacy than normal dorms. Close to no social atmosphere but everyone is respectful. Can store luggage while going on Machu Picchu trek or before/after check in/out. Staff is nice and helpful with what you need. Breakfast is very basic: juice, coffee, tea, plain bread, eggs. Don’t pay more than 15 soles for taxi to/from the airport. Thanks Gaia House!

    Very Good

Gaia is a very quiet and relaxed environment, excellent for winding down or recharging the batteries before moving on. No bar or restaurant and limited seating area for the main lounge means its not a "social" hostel, but this suited me perfectly for this part of my journey.
