Nice thing about a 13 person dorm is there’s a high chance someone is sleeping at all hours so it was quiet all the time. They had a box I could easily fit and padlock my stuff into. Only thing is I wish they would post the hours of the restaurant/bar more clearly.

I was super impressed until the bass from downstairs kept me up. I mentioned this to the front desk, and he asked the DJ to turn the base down. And he did!

It was a very short stay (5h) so I cant tell if the bar prices were good. But the atmosphere seems very good, a propper bar downstairs within the building, so you can get drunk/dance/play pool and meet someone without going outside :P You need to give your email to get wifi (im not a fan). And you can rent lock/towels etc (that is very expensive thou) The atmosphere and location seemed very good thou.

    Good

We were a party of 11 split across 2 rooms. A large room of 10 beds, was spacious on the ground floor, however the other room of 4 bed was very cramped. We were awoken on both mornings at 6am by schoolchildren playing football in the corridor outside our room, banging the door with their football, we asked them to stop but this persisted. When complaining to reception they explained that it was a difficult situation due to the school complained of late night noise (not by us), nothing was done

Overall it was good. The breakfast was great. The location is a big advantage but Richard was rude and aggressive and used profanity only because I was late the first day and due to my flight, I checked in at 2 am and at fist he wasn’t trying to let me in. But after I kept ringing the bell, he grudgingly opened the door. These all happened while I emailed him in advance and apologized for the inconvenience of being late, in advance.

the bedrooms are way too small for four people and there is only one bathroom per floor. we had to walk through many doors to get to the bathroom. weird that you’re not allowed to bring in any other foods. felt like a college dorm but worse

This hostel is not great for solo female travellers, entrance down a dark creepy alley, hostel full of old single men or school kids, terrible atmosphere, filthy toilets/showers, absolutely no atmosphere or anywhere to hang out and make friends. The security of the place was odd, they seemed to hold an outside party in the hostel bar with a bunch of people who werent even staying there lingering all through the lobby late at night. Dont stay here
