I’ve stayed here before and wasn’t disappointed but this time I can’t say the same, it was a tiny room for 4 people and it was ok for 1 night but I can’t imagine staying here with a big suitcase. The beds are great as usual but the main downside was that I had to walk through 4 different sets of doors to get to the nearest toilet.

Nice location (entrance a bit hard to find if you don't know london), very clean and comfy beds for a hostel. Staff was nice at check in and check out. Good continental breakfast at decent price for London. I did not use the bar, but there is one which seems very affordable 😉 One drawback would be the lack of showers/toilets and the locations of these which aren't signed and hard to find. But good stay overall

    Very Good

Unfortunately I didn't feel to comfortable. Pros: good location, nice staff. Cons: The overhead heater was running at all times, which is not only a disaster from an energy point of view, but I also felt like I was in a sauna the whole night. It should be possible to turn it off, or at least it should be turned of automatically during the night. I thought it would be a more social hostel, although there was a bar, there seemed to be only preformed groups there, so no real socializing.

within walking distance to king’s cross tube, British Museum, the Library (check out the treasures room) and some shops, pubs etc. bikes can be rented at the hostel and some good burgers available at the bar. beer selection was down to just Carlsberg one night which is a bummer when trying to socialize with other travelers on a budget. sheets provided, 2 usb chargers and a light in each bunk, a sink was available in our room to limit trips in and out of the room.

The good:staff was nice and Good common area The bad: I got a private room with a private bathroom(extremely overpriced for what you pay for. I’ve paid less in 4stars hotels with a lot more amenities). The room itself looked old.The bathroom smelled really bad like it had plumbing issues.I stayed in November so it was cold, and although the room had a heater, they don’t turn it on until in the afternoon-night in order to “preserve” electricity. It will be very hard for them to stay relevant

Toilet and shower aren't maintained well. There is alot more shard space but its closed most of the day ans served only for ones that eats from the hostel dining. Far walking distance to from covent garden or soho. The 4 gests room was very small.
