Great stay! Very affordable with the addition of a free public transportation day pass and, at least when I was there for my one day, free breakfast in the morning. The cafeteria has affordable options for food by Swiss standards too. Would recommend!

I stayed in the hostel for two nights. There was a buffet breakfast with great hot chocolate. I was able to get cheap and delicious soup (3chf) for dinner. The showers were hot. In the lobby, there are lots of different types of plugs, including USB chargers, for travellers who haven’t brought a Swiss adaptor! As an Irish person, the price per night seemed outrageous for a hostel, but it was the cheapest available in Geneva!

Good location for the railway station and near the centre of Geneva. A quiet neighbourhood, but may lack local colour if you prefer nightlife. Staff helpful and professional. Good facilities overall but shower areas would benefit from more ventilation as a bit muggy.

The Geneva Hostel was a great, inexpensive choice for a weekend in Geneva. Given that everything in Geneva is very expensive, the price was relatively appropriate but definitely more than I'm used to spending on a Hostel! The staff was extremely professional and kind and the free breakfast was perfect. However, the WC facilities were uncomfortable and humid. The 6-woman dorm we slept in was perfect for its intent.

Fine hostel. Toilet and shower facilities were okay and standard. We arrived at 11pm and were able to borrow adaptors from the reception with a deposit. We were not told whether we had lockers during our stay and were fine without, although I would have preferred to use a secure locker. There were a few school trips there which affected the environment but they weren't too loud. My friend and I were able to store our luggage on the day of checkout in a secure locker for a few francs.

The bathrooms were poorly ventilated and although they were cleaned daily, it was always very hot and smelly in there. Apart from that, it was a decent hostel. The free breakfast was sufficient and the dorm rooms were clean and comfortable.

    Very Good

    15 Jan 2020
My second time here close to Lake and station. Good breakfast, isolated basement kitchen, a lot of clanging metal doors. 6 bed dorms with keycards for lockers and good hot showers. Bunk beds lack privacy curtain and USB ports tho there are some in common areas. Large and impersonal but I tend to chat and make friends. Overpriced, parking, bike racks outside. Towel hire. Make your own bed. Rigid check out 10am. Free Geneva travel card around town and airport

The staff is very unfriendly. They don't change the duvets from beds, they only give you the duvet cover and pillowcase and I saw that they don't wash the duvets and everyone uses the same! That is gross! The staff in the kitchen is super rude! I tried to get a coffee at 9:40 (Breakfast ends at 9:30) and the guy did not want to give me coffee he said I would have to pay 2 francs, I also asked for one slice of cheese which was in front of me but they said no. Unflexible and unfriendly.

Nunca vi uma equipe de hostel tão mal educada como essa! Grossos e arrogantes, me trataram muito mal. Cozinha com Poucos utensílios, não estava limpa. Café da manhã muito fraco. Chuveiro de pressão, não gostei. Pelo menos te dão um cartão para circular pela cidade. Valor muito alto pela qualidade ruim
