Managed by the non-governmental organisation Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke (Action Aid Denmark), our strategy is that all of the collected funds will be used to educate young women and men from the local community to better organize, express themselves through arts and build strong communities that are capable of demanding their governments for their rights. All our rooms are named and inspired after the countries where Action Aid operates in.

Wonderful folks! I love the people there for being absolutely lovely people. They are smart, friendly and very helpful. If I am in Denmark again, I know where to head to, in order to get a night's sleep. They also have good beers in the bar, which I appreciated. Tips for travelers: DON'T forget a padlock for the locker and bed linen (bed sheet, duvet cover and pillow cover) or else you'll be charged about 10 euros for the same at the reception.

Very clean, friendly staff, great hot showers, in a perfect location, and seemed to have a nice atmosphere with people hanging out in the café/bar area. Would stay here again.

People make places. The staff were dedicated to what they do and we're all helpful and warm, especially Simone who went out if her way to help. The concept of the hostel in terms of global causes was something unique and humbling.

Good location at the edge of the centre within walking distance of Nørreport station, bus stop even nearer. Supermarket and restaurants around the corner. Friendly staff. When arriving, I was a little confused because I first saw the gate at the entrance that can only be opened with an access key. However, reception entry is a few steps further down the street. Cleanliness and usability of the bathrooms could have been a little better, but were still OK. All in all, I can recommend the place.

Literally can walk to all the interest points, or at least to the main metro station which can take you to one. Bring your bed lining is recommended. Everything else is nice and cosy.

    Very Good

Was okay nothing special. It's a non profit hostel and was is run by volunteers seem friendly enough. Communal area was okay upstairs met a few people. Could definitely do with more bathrooms and toilets for the amount of beds, little things like having hooks in the bedrooms around the room would help, lockers are outside the room and the room doors are the most annoying thing ever...they are super tricky to lock behind you so most people leave them open so they just bang in the wind.

It’s a hostel- nothing spectacular, staff didn’t make effort to engage and weren’t really bothered with us. plug sockets by each bed which was useful and lights as well so main one didn’t need to be on all the time. Limited bathrooms and showers for the amount of people, but standard for what you would expect. Kitchen v small but ok for what you need. I think it’s pricey for what it is but was an ok stay.

you must pay extra 50kr for bed linen I have never seen this before in Copenhagen. Rooms were disturbingly hot and smelly due to people eating in them. No fan or AC. Some windows could not be opened as they were zip locked. beds were decent and so is location. But this added fee pissed me off because they market themselves on being cheaper than other hostels but they are not when you add the bed linen fee. I would not come again
