Absolutely fantastic location. Accommodation was exceptional. Staff so lovely. We wish we could have stayed longer. Brilliant place for me and 4 friends. Spacious, clean and aircon was appreciated!

We had a lovely stay at the Globetrotter Hostel and we welcomed warmly by staff who gave us recommendations about what to see and do in Catania. The area is really convenient and there are lots of bars and restaurants with really lively atmospheres in the close vicinity. The room was great value for money and served our needs perfectly. The air con is great, which is essential! Recommended for a base if you’re doing trips in and out of the city especially as we did.

A great spot right in the centre of Catania. I’d highly recommend as a convenient, clean and reasonably priced option. The staff were also very useful in providing information on excursions and spots to visit in and around Catania.

Nice place to stay, no complaints. Only thing was that the reception asked for a review online, which I think is not very charming. The rest was fine!

Great hostel. It is located just one block away from the main square, but a little bit far from the main train station. There is a nice communal kitchen. The only con was that the mattress was quite old.

The place is well located with good access to all the major spots of interest. However, the instructions on how to get to the B&B are misleading and it was quite stressful finding the place. Rather frustrating as there are signs from the station to the Fish Market and I could have walked there in 15minutes. I also think the term B&B is misleading. I was not offered breakfast and did not have any in the 2 days l spent there and it was one of my more expensive stays on this trip.

    Very Good

The staff were the best part of my stay there. I was not very impressed with this place. I booked a double room and got a dirty room with two twins pushed together. I mentioned it in the morning and the women was awesome and agreed to change rooms. My second room was better but the bed frame was broken so it was awkward to sleep in. The location was really good and an easy walk to the bus station. Make sure they know your time of arrival or you may be locked out and you will have to call them.

I thought this would be a proper hostel stay in a common building with other travelers, but it was more like a makeshift apartment rental where we were set adrift. Fine if that’s what you’re looking for, but we like interaction with other travelers. Mgmt emailed where to go only after we had left on holiday, & we went to the office when we were supposed to meet at the room. Mgmt didn’t seem happy about this. Room was very cold. Noisy neighbors. Bed very comfortable & hot water very quick & hot.
