Great hostel, a bit out of the centre but worth it for the friendly staff and laid back atmosphere. Free pierogi on a Tuesday was a pleasant surprise!

Really great hostel with friendly staff! It is quite far from the city centre of Zakopane, but it's super convenient for hikes.

Amazing hostel and so worth it for the money you pay. Friendly staff, nice rooms and a great location!! A five minute walk away from the bus stop that takes you to the centre. Very tucked away and serene location in the trees. The cats and the goat were an amazing addition to my stay. Highly recommend anybody staying in Zakopane to stay here at Good Bye Lenin.

Me and my friend stayed at GBL for three nights and will definitely come back when next time in Zakopane. The staff is really nice and friendly, the place is unbelievably cosy and has a cool, homey vibe. The location also contributes to the atmosphere- the hostel sits on a lovely hill in the forest but very near to the bus stop. Nothing more to say but it was a really good time in the nature with amazing, warm people.

Great place for many hikers to stay. Bus stop very close to get you around. Loved the bbq on the Saturday. Amazing shower and friendly atmosphere. At times it felt a little isolated because Spanish seemed to be the dominant language. But great value for money and met some very cool people.

    Fabulous

It is amazing location for mountain hostel. They serve little, basic breakfast and everything is clean and tidy. My major downside was how small the beds were. I am around 180, and I felt this as an issue, so for taller people this will be a major discomfort.

Overall a good hostel. Sociable, staff are friendly and price includes breakfast. Wifi doesn't work in all rooms and although it is by one of the entrances to the national park to get to any decent hiking you still need to take public transport.

    Very Good

Everything was okay, except that the pillows were really bad, so I would recommend bringing your own, and the mattress was so thin I could feel the bed boards under me ( not very comfortable). Also if you come with car don’t park by the hostel, park in the parking lot at the bottom of the hill, because the road is so bad it even has bricks that are just out there to bum your car hardly from under, it might seriously ruin your car, we had a huge scare and the sound was awful.
