Graffiti Hostel was a great stay in the Candelaria neighborhood! Very close to a lot of the activities in the area and the Columbia Tours office was inside the building which made it very easy to setup excursions. The breakfast included was also a great way to start the day! The kitchen area is small so not a whole lot of space to store/cook food but there was plenty to eat nearby at good prices.

Nice Hostal in la Candelaria and the staff was amazing. The people, who are working in the hostal are helpful, friendly, funny and make a great job! The hostal has a lot of space for relaxing and hangout and the graffitis are wonderful! The bar is nice and the beer is very cheap:) The person, who are working there, make the place perfect! I will recommend the place for 100% and soon i will come back to the Graffitifamily:))

There are an over abundance of hostel choices in the historic La Candeleria district but you can do no wrong selecting this spot. Tons of highlights: Superb location, staff that will go above and beyond, bar on site, fast internet, huge kitchen, social atmosphere, comfy beds and an unbeatable price. Book it.

Chill environment, comfy beds. The showers had no hot water though. I asked a staff member and he claimed it gets hot but when he tried to show me, it only got slightly less cold, not hot in any case. And Bogota weather is a bit cold so both me and my wife we're shivering from the cold after our showers. Not pleasant at all. To the point where we avoided showers during the rest of our stay. Other than that, a nice hostel.

    Very Good

Reception - there was no organized reception with experienced receptionist that can give you information about the city or even ones that speaks English(!). Facilities - there was no special facilities (no balcony, only patio, no entertainment of any kind, no hot water! Cleaning - the place felt clean. Location - it was 8 minutes walk from the main road.

There are better hostels out there... I stayed in 3 hostels in Bogota and this was the worse. The rooms are tiny, if your expecting to charge your phone whilst you sleep, or even any point of the day think again. Lack of charging sockets, if you have the top bunk there are 0 charging sockets! The place wasn't the cleanest, with the bathrooms being dirty. There was also a lack of atmosphere in the hostel! I wouldn't stay here again...

Showed up at 10pm. This hostel advertises 24 hour check in/service. I knocked many times with no answer. I was scared, alone in the streets of Bogotá by myself. I could have easily been mugged. I tried calling them many times but their phone number didn’t work. I found a group of teens who drove me to the Cranky Croc Hostel and I checked in to there for my stay. Don’t book this hostel!! For your safety!! Go to the cranky croc instead.
