The hostel is good but not a social hostel. It’s in a very good location close to all everything. The bar is very quiet nobody goes down for a drink so I went to other hostel bars. It’s not super clean but it’s okay.

This is quite a good hostel to spend a few nights. Located in a perfectly decent neighbourhood, it's reasonably close to everything that you may want to see around including the Markthalle Neun and a very pretty area called Bergmannkiez. The facilities are good, particularly the kitchen and the common room. The only con was that from our room (111) you could hear the buzz of the automatic entrance all the time, probably due to the wide open windows. If possible, ask for another room in case.

Absolutely awful hostel, beg bugs were found in our bed and the staff seemed completely unbothered. It had been a problem in the past that they were aware of. Manager was condescending and refused a full refund despite being bitten and getting a suspected allergic reaction. Do not stay here unless you want beg bugs and creepy men twice your age trying to hit on you.
