Because you are making a Group Booking, there are additional Terms and Conditions that apply. Please read them and click 'I Accept' below to continue with your booking

General Group Booking Terms

By making a group reservation through Hostelworld.com you agree to the following terms and conditions as set by Hostelworld.com and as set by the hostel in question.

  • In order to make a group reservation on Hostelworld.com it is necessary to pay a deposit. The balance is due directly to the hostel according to their payment conditions.
  • The booking deposit is non-refundable.
  • Please note that any cancellations must be notified directly to the hostel at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled arrival date, unless otherwise stated in the hostel's conditions.
  • Hostelworld.com are not responsible for changes or amendments to your reservation once it has been processed. All correspondence with regard to changes to your booking need to be dealt with directly with the hostel.
  • Cancellations for reservations must be made directly with the hostel and must conform with the individual hostels cancellation policy (see below)
  • It is your responsibility to pay the balance of your accommodation cost to the hostel in accordance with their payment conditions (see below). Failure to do so may result in your reservation being cancelled by the hostel.
  • Individual hostels may have special booking conditions relating to group stays, please read the hostel booking conditions carefully before making your reservation.

Hostel Specific Terms & Conditions

The remainder of the amount due will be charged to your credit card 3 weeks prior to arrival. Should numbers or room selection change, the per person deposit times the number of people who actually travelled will be deducted from the total accommodation charge levvied by the hostel.

Cancellation / No Show & Reduction in Numbers Policy

Cancelation policy of no refund on the booking fee (where applicable) for a cancellation, no show or reduction in numbers.

Additional Terms and Conditions

When the booking is made, it will charge a deposit of 30%. this is for Security Deposit.
The rooms will be: room for 5 people, room for 4 people, room for 3 people, room for 2 people.
Our hotel has its own shuttle to /from the port /airport to the hotel and back, therefore, before few days(3 or up then) the arrival of the group in Santorini, it is necessary to contact us by email at info@grandemurano.com.
Check-in is at 13:00 and check-out at 11:30

The following group types are not accepted by this hostel: Junior / Primary School, Stag/Hen/Bachelor Party If you have misrepresented the type of group you are booking for, your booking may be cancelled by the hostel."

Any cancellations resulting from agreement to these terms and conditions under false pretences will result in loss of deposit.

Grande Murano is located in the center of Fira ,at central square, a short distance from the caldera. Bus station is 100 meters away and free parking 10 meters from the hotel .Restaurant, minimarket and other shops are around. For evening to dance, clubs in Fira are a 8 minute walk away. In a few minutes, find an oven that can delight you with fresh goodies, every morning. Restaurants, coffee and souvenir shops attracts you to walk in Fira, only 5 minutes away from our hotel.

Grande Murano offer comfortable rooms, all equipped with private bathroom, balcony, and fridge, LCD TV with satellite channels, air conditioning, internet and hair dryer. You can enjoy the magnificent views and relax at the swimming pool after a hot day out in the city.

    One of the best options to spend a nice and private time, with amazing helping staff, a wonderful swimming pool and a great opportunity of joining a tour bus in the city that was one of the best ideas the hotel could had suggested. A wonderful time in a wonderful place.

    This hotel is about 15 minuet walk from the bus terminal and main square. Right on the main road and easy to find. Was very clean and has a nice pool and view of ocean from the pool. The ac worked well and plenty of hot water. Room was cleaned everyday might be time to change the mattress. Very good value

    It was a bit of a struggle contacting the staff, but the folk at the supermarket opposite helped out. The rooms are comfortable and have a splendid view out over the open sea. The pool was drained, but I'm not sure whether that this was due to COVID-19 restrictions or the end of the season. The main shops and restaurants are just a short walk downhill, which turned out to be most helpful.

    1. Arrived to find reception closed. Couldnt call contact number on the door as I was not travelling with an active sim . Have suggested to host that they provide intended guests with reception wifi password so on arrival can contact them via a Whatsapp or Viber enabled number. Luckily owner arrived to drop off other guest. 2. Was then advised that current property was full so would be moved to another property. Friendly host but could have done w/o initial stress. Basic accomodation.

    I had to cancel 1 night. Hostel world wouldn't adjust it for me, said to contact hotel. I tried multiple times by email and no reply. When I got there and explained situation, staff and Manager made me pay for the night I had tried to cancel. Manager was very unprofessional! Said she got my emails but didn't reply because she couldn't cancel it (It would of been nice for her to email me back stating that instead of not reply). Even using Covid as excuse saying times are hard.Yes its hard forALL

    Some guy kept yelling at our friends. Telling them they couldn’t be down there; which is so weird. We paid for a room and nowhere did it say “no friends”. One friend simply wanted to drop off my water bottle and couldn’t even come down. Absolutely ridiculous. Tried to check out and nobody was in the office. It was locked. Why am I rushing to leave if nobody is even around? Bed spread was stained. And it didn’t even have a fitted sheet. Felt kind of gross.

    The hotel is very nice and clean but the service is horrible. The reception is always close ( except at checkout time) When we arrived nobody was there and we waited ( for a longtime) finally I went across the street and asked one of the local to please call the number for me and then the guy finally showed up ( it was the same every time I saw new people coming in as I had to tell them to call) There is No help at all from the hotel.

    This was the worst experience I have EVER had with an accommodation. We arrived at 9, no one was working the desk. Called the manager, he said come at 12 for ur room. We came back at 12 for check in. The website said u can pay cash or card. He refused card, tried to deceive us to not give our change back. 1:15 rolled around, our room still not ready I went to ask what was going on. He started YELLING at me, gave me my money and said to leave! Just for asking a question! Disgusting behaviour
