My friend & Jessica were visiting from Wi & we chose to stay at the Green Tortoise Hostel. The location is absolutely perfect for downtown life & easy access to the market. I’m not sure the name of the girl working when we checked in, 9/10 but she was wearing a blue tye dye shirt & black beanie. She was super helpful, funny and all around a good human. I would definitely stay again the next time I visit Seattle. First hostel experience was definitely a great one. Thanks you!

A drunk guy came into our room at 3am. He crawled into my bed and then the bed above me. A member of staff removed him, however, no one checked in with us to ask what happened, or to see if we were ok, or to explain how he got a key card in the first place. I’m surprised none of the staff members even thought to bring it up at check out. I had to bring it up, and they said he stole a key card but we all had our cards and the room was full. Would not recommend this place for safety reasons.
