This was our first time experience at a Hostel and it was excellent. The staff was very friendly , welcoming and super informative even though a lot of then were not originally from Seattle. We originally booked a night at a different hostel and decided to just stay here due to our experience. The rooms are bit dark but you do get a feel of privacy with the curtains on each of the beds. We ended staying 3 nights and only saw 2 people at different times in the rooms. Highly recommend it!

What a fab Seattle experience! The GT hostel has lots of community space for interaction or quite reflection. All hours support staff (with entry/exit) was kind and fun. Lots of participation from the guests re sponsored activities. Rooms had large locking bins for personal gear (carful stepping over door sill...i tripped several times). Street noise is medium to high. but over all, a wonderful hostel, can wait to come back! The spirit and fun of Green Tortoise Adventures lives on!

It was fine. Not my favorite hostel in Seattle! I appreciated the curtains around the bunks, but the hostel was pretty bland. I wish the staff would have recommended more things to do in Seattle. The bathrooms were a little smelly and didn't have toilet paper when I needed it.

It was a bit dirtier than I would have liked (I think it's just older, not because it wasn't being cleaned because I did see some scrub downs). The staff was awesome except for some attitude at the front one evening. Overall good for the price. Might try City Hostel next time just to compare.

Ok place to stay for a couple of nights. Didn’t really have a good atmosphere to meet new people and socialise but maybe that’s not the aim of this hostel. Bathrooms could have a little more space like a shelf to put your things on when showering or around the sink especially when the floor is wet from people prior or avoiding stacking it on the toilet. Location was great though and perfect spot to explore Seattle from.
