Was a great place to stay, the only negative thing I would say is that the upstairs common space on LV10 and the laundry facilities are a bit small, but other than that it made for a perfect stay!

Everything was great! Right beside the station! Great communal area. You can bring any drinks from outside, inside. We had a little trouble with communicating with staff though. Also made us check out of our room in the middle of our stay to move to another room. Essentially homeless for 5 hours. Thankful they moved quickly so it was only 45 minutes.

Staff were kind and gave good recommendations. Felt very secure with keycard access and lockers in rooms. Clean and the beds were very comfortable. Close to Akihabara station so easy access to two JR lines and metro.

The location is great, 10-15 minute walk to Akihabara, and very close to the train station. The staff helped me with calls to the police the embassy after I lost my passport, wallet and phone.

GRIDS hostel in Asakusabashi was wonderful! The beds were very comfortable, the washroom and powder rooms were very clean, and the staff was friendly. They provided a locker for our essentials, which was perfect. It was a very calm and quiet hostel, exactly what we needed! Everyone was respectful.

Really clean and tidy. The staff tried really hard, even though the language barrier was difficult. Location was good, could be more central but we were using the train a lot. Would recommend, was nice to have a bit of normality after being in Fiji

    Very Good

    27 May 2019
Location was alright, some small eateries nearby for late dinner and abundance of convenience shop within the vicinity. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Room and bed were clean. Could do with more bathrooms on the ladys only floor however. There was only one but since it was off peak, I don't have to wait too long for it. Lockers were provided but not big enough for my backpack or other travellers' wheeled luggage. Overall value for money. Will recommend.

The beds were very uncomfortable and the bathroom facilities were crowded/awkward to use with cleaning staff around during peak hours (pre check out in the morning etc) The communal kitchen was very small and didn’t have any basic tools for cooking/eating. Was connected with bathroom and didn’t smell pleasant.
