Arrived very late but was pleasantly greeted by Sam. I was the only one at the hostel but this worked out well, I was given a private room with keys to the place to come and go as I pleased. This hostel is set up perfectly for a busy environment if it were to occur. Beautiful garden and kitchen. Definitely recommend.

Wonderful staff, beautiful property. Was planning on staying 1 night and stayed a week. They told me about a lot of awesome places to go. More like staying in someone's home than a hostel though. Lots of Colombians to befriend around too!

A great home base to explore the beautiful Boyacá region! The owner was super helpful with organizing trips to the páramo and with suggesting other places to visit (and how to get there). The hostel has a nice social atmosphere too, so it's easy to meet people to go on these awesome day trips with.

We stayed in that lovely and still untouristic town of Sogamoso. Living in the Hostel is like staying at a friend's place. You are free and on your own. That is in our view fantastic. You have a nice terrace, a bar, a kitchen and a big garden. The Hostel's owner is a very nice guy. After our arrival he explained to us all possible activities. Then he took us to his local bouldering club. Next evening he and his friends were playing guitar and singing at a fire in the garden. Very pleasant stay!

    Fabulous

Really nice staff, arrived at 10:15 at night and it was no problem. Gave me directions to playa Blanca, but listen carefully because I took the wrong bus at first. The place is several blocks away from the town center but really close to the archaeology museum if you're interested in that. I was there on a tuesday and Wednesday, so I was the only one there, but a group had just left. The back yard is undergoing some improvements and overall the facilities were pretty decent. Really good value.

    Good

I was the only guest at the hostel for a few days and then me and a friend. During this time, the staff seemed to forget we were there so there was no soap, no one on reception, no toilet paper and the bins were overflowing (including in the toilet). When they are there the staff are very knowledgeable on the surrounding area and can organise tours or even take you themselves. Shame about the first few days though and the fact that the bar seemed more for the use of the owner and his friends.
