Love it here. Immediately feel at home. Had a Nabé hot pot with the staff and other guests on my first night, where else is like that?! So friendly.

The staff here were super friendly and really make everyone feel welcome and build friendships; they helped us find places to go for our day in Kobe and even gave us free access passes to the Mt. Maya ropeways. With a fine security system, individual AC units, and free WiFi, this hostel made me feel comfortable at at ease among new friends. It is a short bus ride or an easy walk to the main train stations.

Previously an old general practice clinic, now rebuilt into a wonderful guesthouse, by a group of local folks. History and local Kobe life is in every corner of this place. I have travelled extensively in Japan for a number of years, and once in a blue moon you come across accomodation where everything is just right. Stayed here four nights. Enjoyed every minute. The staff here were some of the nicest people I have come across, and they really made me feel like family from the first hello.

Amazing stay! The guesthouse is so cute and cozy! The staff were friendly, informative and made a great cup of coffee in the morning. Walk one minute to the fukurou pan bakery, as recommended by the staff and bring back your goodies to enjoy in the lounge. Walking distance from Nada station, as well as the zoo and the Yokoo todonori Museum. They have discount tickets for the museum. i will only stay here if i come back to Kobe.

One of the best hostels I’ve been to. The atmosphere is great, facilities are good and staff are amazingly hospitable. The only 👎🏽 thing is that the stairs were very steep and narrow but other than that, other parts of the guesthouse were great! I would love to come back someday and would definitely recommend it to others!

The staff were super helpful and knew all the best places to eat and visit in the area! Each bunk comes with a locker, light, outlet and a bit of storage space. The showers had wonderful water pressure as well. Would love to visit again!

Great hostel, staff and friendly, internet was fine. Not right in cbd or lots of tourist attractions around but train stations are close. Would stay again.

Great little hostel. Owner was very, very friendly and helped with anything. Small kitchen area and beds are pretty big for a dorm! Not in downtown Kobe so local area can be a bit quiet at night. Also, mind your head... I'm 6'1 and had to duck going up the stairs. They do warn you of this beforehand though. Local bakeries are definitely worth a try
