I very much enjoyed staying at this hostel. Will definitely stay again when I go back through Kota Kinabalu. It was near the center of town, great price, and the breakfast was wonderful. The lady who works there is very kind and caring. The only issue I had was the room was too bright. The beds need black-out curtains as you can see everyone's light in their little pod. But I could have just put up my towel. Loved this place!

I stayed here twice, yes the rooms are small, but the lockers fit my fully loaded 60 liter bag and everything is organized, they were constantly cleaning the bathrooms and mopping all of the floors. If you don’t like capsul beds than maybe this isn’t for you, but if you do they’re practically a private room with electrical outlets and lights right there. Staff is amazing, you can do your own laundry, cook eggs and toast for breakfast, walk to the markets and the ferry. loved it!

Great location, everything you need is in walking distance. Nice little street market at the end of the road. Cooked French toast/waffles for breakfast which are left out to get cold so get there early! Bus from the airport is 5RM or grab is 10RM Beds & showers were fine, would recommend for a short stay

Not much atmosphere. Breakfast was good. Location is okay. Good if you just need a bed but not so good for a solo traveler.

Tiny tiny dorm. Aircon recirculates a very tiny amount of air so when someone comes in sick, EVERYONE gets sick. And everyone DID get sick. For some reason a bunch of people don't flush the toilet there. Common area is basically 2 tiny facing couches 1 meter apart. It's a makeshift capsule hotel. Staff more concerned about getting my money than accommodating me. Kept re-asking me if I was going to pay. Also language barrier was thick. I think they're most used to chinese. Needed translator app.

The main issue we had was when we arrived at 6am which we already stated, we were told we couldn't enter. The receptionist didn't know what was going on, couldn't let us check in even though they we paid for this service? The common area is outside the dorm rooms, so you can't use this area late on or you'll get shushed at 9pm. Most positive was the manager she actually helped us when she was there.
