I stayed here in 2015 and two weeks ago. Both times I got some of my best sleep of my whole trip, even though I was in the dorm. Breakfast is great, it's quiet, clean, modern, and in a quiet spot on top of the mountain. Staff are nice and helpful as well.

I really enjoyed this hostel! It’s so close to the mountain and a short bus ride or good walk from town. The breakfast was great with so much selection and the facilities such as the kitchen were very adequate. Will definitely be coming back.

Location isn't ideal for getting to city center (bus doesn't run often on weekends), but it has a beautiful view over the city and it's situated right next to Mt Ulriken. I was unable to eat breakfast since I had to catch an early morning bus so the hostel staff packed the food for me to go. They were very accommodating overall. I was in an 18 person dorm, yet it was still clean and everyone was quiet. There are lockers and a sink in the room. Outlets are accessible. Would recommend this place!

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The view over the city and mount ulriken is fantastic. The breakfast buffet menu is the best I've ever had in a hostel. Thank you so much.

Room and showers were really clean. Amazing views and location. However, when its really windy you can hear it as the whole building moves.

It's definitely not close to city centre, but it's an awesome hostel and well worth the extra travel. It's super convenient for hiking (located right at the foot of many Ulriken trails). Very clean. I had no issues with wifi. The breakfast is GREAT! It's real food! This hostel is super worth it, would recommend to anyone.

It's quite far out of town, but you do have better access to the walking trails so it depends why you're visiting Bergen as to if it's a good location. Lockers were quite small, and unless you have a thick padlock it won't necessarily work. I believe they can lend you locks but unsure if it's a paid service. Facilities were clean with full kitchen to use. Staff seemed annoyed to answer my questions about the area.

While the hostel isn’t within a close location to the city it has the most GORGEOUS view of the entire city. A bit of a hike, but if you take the bus it’s not too far. There’s no lockers in the room so you need to be a bit trusting of your neighbors. Staff are very friendly. Sociable hostel with lots of young uni students staying there (which also means the kitchen is in a constant state of chaos). Affordable for Norway standards and can’t beat the beautiful views.

Beautiful location outside of the city a little and on the hillside near the walks. Well worth the bus trip across (20 mins). Rooms had no security storage but I never once felt the need to store anything as I always had my wallet and phone on me anyway. Kitchen was good - maybe could be a little bigger as it gets busy but find. Bathrooms were excellent with actual hot water immediately! Free breakfast was epic and extreme value for money!
