Great and very clean hostel. The location is perfect for Chicago, only 30 mins walk from anything!! There are fun events on every day and night. The pub crawl is a good way to meet people. Rooms are large and clean with your own bathroom. Highly recommend.

The location is perfect and incredibly close to Lake Michigan and tourist destinations. There are various public transit options surrounding the hostel which made getting around Chicago easy and convenient. The dorm room I stayed in was very clean. The breakfast was basic, but it was enough to tide me over until I wanted to spend money on another meal. I was impressed with the security of the hostel and the keycard system. It worked effortlessly but made me feel safe. This is a great spot!

Perfect location, great activities, super friendly staff, super clean, great amenities, well organized... heavily recommend. Small note about our own stay was that the heating was broken in our room (private double, 705-3) and made it hard to sleep (like it must have been 90F or higher). We had to keep the door open all night to let cooler air in, and were all dried out from the heating the following day hahaha.

Loved this hostel. Very clean. The shower and toilet are in the same room so that is good. The bunk beds are solid and have a little light and wall plug to charge your electronics. The rooms get very dark which is awesome they have great blinds. The only problem is If someone turns on the lights in the sink area you will notice it, if you’re a light sleepier you might wake up. I think it would be a good idea to put a curtain in between. But over all loved it. Always have plenty of activities.

My boyfriend and I stayed here during the COVID-19 outbreak. We were welcomed by staff despite the travel concerns and were upgraded to a private room in order to comply with what I'm assuming was the staff's interest in spreading everyone out to minimize the spread of germs. Overall, great hostel and would totally stay again--but next time, not during a pandemic!

I was very happy here. The accommodations were wheelchair friendly, (except the bench in the shower which wobbly and dangerous to sit on.) All of my roommates in the dorm were friendly and conscious of sharing space. Staff was very helpful. I wish I could have stayed longer!

Was a good place to stay for 10 days, I was in a room with 4 people and was a little bit of a mess, we all had totally different schedules and someone was always sleeping during the day, made living around them little awkward. I extended to stay a full 2 weeks and add 4 days, the staff were very helpful but I'm in a room with 8 woman now and it's a bit much considering the price per night and weekends the rate is higher, facilities are fine, laundry is expensive but not if you do a full load

    Very Good

Great location, good breakfast, for the most part friendly staff. Main issue is that for a pod of 8 rooms, that hold 3 people each, there was one womens shower/toilet and one men's shower/toilet. Thankfully it was relatively empty when we were there or that could have been an issue. I would stay there again in an off season.
