Lovely hostel, comfy rooms, free power banks, tasty breakfast, plenty of space to socialize. It is an easy 20 minute walk from the train station (in a safe area; I was walking alone at night), and 20 min stroll from the Markt.

I really enjoyed my stay at HI Brugges! Very nice in some aspects and the relación value-money is very good. The only think I guess can be improved is to install more plugs, because in my 6bed room we only had 2.

Really nice place, especially for the price. I recommend staying here if you don't mind a little walk into city centre (it's a really beautiful walk).

The hostel was fine for 2 Days, the breakfast has some fruits, cheese, bread and cereals. The rooms were bright and the showers were clean. It has a common room (altthough it doesn´t feel very personal) and only one microwave, so no real kitchen. The location isn´t too far outside, but Brugge isn´t big anyways.

Good breakfast! There don’t have any curtain in the bed. YHA is big chains company, but the design of room and bathroom, the convenience, practicality, thoughtful are like beginner. Their designers need to travel more!

Location is not bad, but they have crazy and complicated rules. When you come to hostel till 10 p.m there is another rule, but to come after 10 a.m other. When checked out at 06:30 the gates were closed and we had to jump over the gate which was dangerous. If you stay in this hostel you will understand everything. But the personal was polite.

The whole time I was there the showers didn't work properly. There were no lockers in the room for security and there was only 2 charging sockets. The man that served me was lovely however he was on his own the whole time and it would get really busy at times. There was no kitchen facilities so that was a bummer. Location was great.

An okay hostel if you are looking for somewhere cheapish in Bruge. The hostel has the aesthetic of a 70's era council run leisure center.

Almost spent the night outside because reception shuts at 10:30 and I was only sent an email saying this at 10:25! It was a stroke of luck that I got in having scaled a large spiked fence and waited for a guest to by chance walk by the window and got him to let me in. Would have been a cold night and staff didn’t seem to care at all. Also showers smelt like pee but room was warm but only had 2 powerpoints between 6 people and breakfast was good but no toaster.
