This was my third stay at the Lake Louise Hostel and I will absolutely come again! Highly exceeds value for your dollar. I am a 55 year old female and although most of my roommates have been younger I have met some wonderful people; two sisters from France, a software engineer from San Francisco, and this year my son came from BC so we went co-Ed meeting a nice young man from Seattle ... all skiers. Beautiful fireside meals, great food, friendly staff and wonderful fellow travellers.

Very nice stay! Enjoyed a delicious dinner at the hostel restaurant. Not many options this time of year in Lake Louise as most places are closed. The bonfire was a bonus especially since it was the only entertainment available. Lights out at 11pm got us to bed earlier then usual but also got us up and on our way by 9am next day in search of coffee.

I'd like to give a shoutout to Stephanie and Alana at the front desk! These ladies were super helpful in suggesting places around town and throughout Banff! HI Lake Louise is a great hostel with very affordable rates. I was in a 4-person room and had no issues. Bedding and towels are included in the price and there were no hidden charges. Looking for a cheap place to stay that is great quality, stay at HI Lake Louise.

Our party of 5 were allocated a 5 bed mixed dorm between us which worked well. We used the kitchen a fair bit which was well equipped, clean and sufficient to serve demand. The showers on our floor were a little low down for taller members of our party. On the whole a great stay

Really nice front end staff, wish the games room was a bit cleaner. The upstairs fireplace room was a nice common area for people to hangout. Kitchen was really clean and had lots of room.

The hostel is very clean with a nice atmosphere. The bed are comfortable but if you stay on the upper beds, there won't be any power sockets.

Hostel is really clean and well looked after. Nice restaurant attached which is convenient, however it was full of children running around screaming/playing each night late and early morning again at 5am yelling and playing games. Kitchen was always occupied by large families so couldn’t cook any food. Nice hostel but I’d recommend staying in Banff and commuting out to Lake Louise via transport.

This hostel had a nice chill atmosphere/look, reminded me of a hiking clubs cabin or something. We didn't need to be in Banff as weren't eating out, so the location was good, close to sights. However common area was cold, beds were hard and blankets scratchy. Walls were really thin so you could hear the washroom just outside your room. And super annoying that swipe cards for the rooms stopped working regularly, I got locked out of my room late at night when the staff had finished for the day.
