Comfy, homely and friendly... The best hostel I’ve stayed in so far! The staff not only made me feel welcome but the ones who had their night off took some of us that wanted to go out and showed us round. They have a board on the front of the hostel that suggests some cool goings on for that night locally and it has a brilliant location.

The hostel was such an amazing stay! Very friendly and knowledgable staff. The dorm room was nice and cold which is great during my summer stay in PHX. My favorite thing was free breakfast was available for me to grab and go! I enjoyed the book exchange that was there along with all the Arizona resources provided. The only thing I did not like was check in @ 5 pm. I arrived at 10 am, however I was able to wait in the common room!

I was really only there for the night, but based on my experience I would definitely return if ever in that area again. All I really needed was a safe place to stay, a shower, a bed for my exhausted body, some food and water, and a friendly face to greet me. It had all of the above, plus a relaxed atmosphere! Thank you!

Former small home in the heart of the downtown area that is becoming an evening hub of activity. Very nice front yard sunken garden, large backyard with table tennis, sitting areas to engage in conversation with other travelers. I have stayed in several hostels over the years, very nice, convenient, & friendly staff.

I had a very easy and peaceful time. Though the guests were restricted to sharing the large bathroom with two showers/two toilets/two hand basins and we took turns based on genders, I didn't feel I was very inconvenienced at all. I had plenty of things to keep me distracted to worry too much about toilet/shower time. I'd stay again.

Pretty solid hostel. Great community spaces and kitchen, and the staff was lovely. Best security. Beds were uncomfortable & I struggled to sleep with the oscillating temp. Bathroom was under maintenance while I was there. I was surprised it was so residential, essentially a renovated house in a neighborhood, but it was still walkable to some nice bars & restaurants. I’d stay again.

I only stayed here as a stopover. It was a good place, friendly staff and decent facilities. If I was staying to explore phoenix I think I might choose somewhere a bit closer to the city.

My bunk bed was uncomfortable and it gave me back issues, after use but otherwise it was nice. I thought the staff were great and the atmosphere nice.

During check in everything looked as I expected. The patio out front was really cute. I had 2 bags and my suitcase and I was struggling to get around as we were checking in. I feel like the guy could’ve offered a hand. It wasn’t an unpleasant check in, but it also wasn’t friendly and lacked hospitality. There’s a lot of space in the dorm, but it’s VERY humid. It smelled bad and i feel like there was bed bugs. The restroom was really small. I ended up leaving earlier than planned & didn’t stay.

We stayed in a private room with 2 twin mattresses that were basically a piece of foam. There was no centralized AC and it was such a miserable experience. The room was muggy, sticky and HOT. They provided an extra fan, but it didn't help. I would never suggest staying here if you want basic comforts. The owner of the house was helpful when we needed to check in early, but sadly that is the only positive to this place. For $20 more go get a hotel!!
