It was my first time in Richmond, and first hostel experience. I liked it so far. Staff is friendly and ready to recommend places you should visit, such as museums and restaurants. Other guests were nice. Kitchen is free to be used any time, everything is clean and organized. Parking available nearby, either garage or two-hour street. Location is convenient, about 10 minutes walking away from the state capitol. My overall opinion is it's a good option to stay for a couple of nights saving money.

Really nice staff, clean rooms and beds, good breakfast and nice private bathrooms. I fully recommend staying here when you are in RVA! They also have great activities and tips for restaurants and a super cozy community room!

I loved my stay! It was my first experience staying in a hostel, so here is a run down for other first timers. The dormer (6 bunk beds) was comfortable. I had a locker for storing my items - bring a lock though! The room is clean and comfortable, and bunks each have a small bright reading light, outlets for charging, and a small shelf. The community dinner surprised me! I enjoyed socializing with my bunkmate, and the bathrooms are accessible and private. A great find!

Very nice hostel, Sayed in February so it lacked any sort of atmosphere but i could tell it was the sort of place that would get busy in summer and hotter months, the only downside is that it's a dry location so no alcohol is allowed on the property at any point.

Great staff - super friendly, helpful and accommodating. Hostel itself in terms of cleanliness, facilities, and safety is A+. The hostel organizes a lot of events and lets you know about recommendations in Richmond. Richmond itself is a little sleepy that's reflected a bit in the atmosphere, if you're travelling to socialize this might not be the place for you. I do recommend getting outside of downtown and visiting other neighborhoods (like Carytown for example).
