I loved this hostel because it was very centrally located for adventuring around Sacramento! The hostel staff were very friendly and helpful for telling me about the best spots to check out in the area. I would recommend this place to anybody staying in the area because it was very conveniently located, affordable and a great place to meet fellow travelers. I look forward to the next time I visit this hostel!

There aren't enough good words to say about this hostel. The localisation is great, everything within a walking distance. The staff nice and friendly. The breakfast great. The rooms lovely. With the added bonus of sleeping in an old mansion. Definitely recommend this place!

Would stay here again. Was very quiet and clean. Not very social, but I was the only one in the mixed dorm room with 10+ beds so I probably hit it at a lull. Great value.

Rat in kitchen and also another within the gate, but understandable because it’s a mansion in the city. Facilities were really nice though. However, I did emerge with two bug bites and found a flea that bit me right after I checked out. Really nice that they value Eco-friendliness, and overall a good and welcoming stay. Complementary coffee was definitely a perk.

Great Staff. Needs more TLC. Fresh paint outside. Maybe city can provide money non profit grants to upgrade or paint outside and help with the grounds. Basement rooms need cleaning or better ventilation for musty smell. Problem common to most basements.
