Amazing as always. Go feed the rabbits on the beach, it's a wonderful way to wake up every morning.

A little out of the way unless the beach is what you’re looking for! Dorms were clean and more private than I thought for the number of people that they serve. Overall would definitely return!

Just steps away from Jericho beach and close to walking paths and grocery stores are a nice stroll through lovely Jericho suburbs. The hostel had better-than-average COVID protocols than other hostels/hostels. However, they should have made masks mandatory for staff as most staff walked around without masks, although masks were provided. Place was also quite clean, esp bathrooms and kitchen. Kitchen closes during peak times and a staff member kicks people out of rooms from 11-3pm.

    Very Good

I was treated quite rudely by the admin staff. I was in the wrong because I was smoking in an area on the outside grounds that is apparently a NO SMOKING area. But I was perfectly willing to put it out and there was no need to be so rude about it. Instead of walking up to me to have a conversation about it like an adult, the staff bellowed a diatribe at me from 50 yards away. Completely disrespectful, and I will not return to help pay the salaries of such rude and ungrateful administrators.

Although it was surrounded by a beautiful place, it is not a place easy to get at all if you don't have a car, as it was my situation. The place has good facilities, but in shared rooms you can't make any noise because you can here everything. There are no plugs in the rooms, the staff members don't have any spark, and the place in general it's like asleep. People don't speak to each other.

To be frank I thought this hostel was overpriced for the location and facilities. It’s out if the way if you’re relying on public transport, the kitchen wasn’t very clean and the plumbing is quite sensitive. It might of been my luck but 2/3 of the toilets on my floor were blocked and the showers were cold. The only redeeming factor was the staff who were lovely.

Showers in poor conditions. Toilets in poor conditions. The 18-bed room could have at least the windows opened during the day, so it doesn’t smell weird in the room. It is not worth the price.

This hostel was a bummer. The bathroom was filthy and obviously hadn't been cleaned in awhile. When we mentioned it to the staff on our way out (a toilet was clogged, paper towel everywhere), they said that it was housekeeping's job to deal with. Dissaponted that the worst hostel I've stayed in is in my own province. I feel bad for the tourists whose experience of Vancouver is this place 😔
