This is the BEST hostel that I've ever stayed in, and I've traveled to many places: Thailand, South Korea, Finland, Germany, US, etc., and this is the best one! Definitely a value for your money! BEAUTIFUL rooms (I stayed in an 11-mixed bed room), well-equipped kitchen, comfortable couches in the common area, friendly and informative staff. I asked if there was a walking tour, and one member shared with me where I could find the tour, which happened to be free! They hostel also organizes tours.

Amazing hostel! I’ve been travelling for two months and easily one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at. The kitchen is large, immaculately clean and well stocked with what ever you need. The staff were wonderful, they provided advice on a phone plan, what to do in Auckland, grocery stores and airport transportation. The beds are comfortable, each has privacy curtains, a light and power outlets near the bed.

Didn’t expect too much due to it being my first time travelling but it was great! The under-bed-safes made me feel at ease, although I kept wacking my head on the top of my bottom bunk, the tv lounge was a good place to start a conversation and relax, the laundry room was easy to use, the showers were a bit tight but I am 6ft3, the kitchen was stacked with equipment/ free-to-use food/bits; overall great stay and will definitely be staying in other places across NZ next time.

By far my favorite hostel I’ve stayed at in Auckland - the nicest beds/rooms I’ve ever stayed in (and I’ve stayed at MANY hostels), with an unbeatable location - K road is the coolest street in the city by far. The facilities are immaculately clean and there’s even a theater style TV room to watch movies! Can’t say much for the social atmosphere since the common room is a bit sterile but there are so many good bars/restaurants just outside that it makes up for it :)

Really nice, clean hostel. Stayed in 7 bed dorm. Would stay again! Only downside was the signs bed in the room didn’t have any locker to put your stuff in.

This place is on K road which is quite the busy place, a bit loud and there is actually a strip club a block away. But there are also great restaurants and shopping on this street as well. Besides that everything else was great! I was afraid this place wouldn’t be social but it turned out to be quite social actually.

I was in Auckland for two nights before jetting back home to the States. This was the perfect transition hostel for those two nights. Had all the basic essentials and all facilities were in order. The atmosphere was good, but could have been better. But then again, I was only around for a bit. So overall, I recommend staying at this hostel.

Facilities are good, great staff but the basement really smells bad. The location is somehow 7 minutes walk to the main avenue. The hostel is good but I think there may be more options.

    Very Good

Generally a good basic hostel with everything you will need. The street where it is on is very noisy (bad karaoke on the weekend nights does not make it easy to sleep in). It is also I bit of walk away from the CBD but on the other hand there is everything you will need on that street. The beds are hard so not very comfortable and only some of them have the lockers. (If you arrive late, be prepared that you wont get a locker.)
