A chilled out, small hostel perfect if your looking for a cheap base while you explore Singapore. Close to the bus stop so it’s easy to go anywhere as the bus is so cheap. A convenient cheap food market opposite. Perfect for budget backpackers.

I really enjoyed my stay at Happy Snail. The hostel was very clean and the staff were really friendly ( in particular Emma and one of the owners). The free toast and tea and coffee was also a nice touch.

Nice hostel if you’re looking for a quiet, low key place to stay. The free bread and spreads was a great touch. Felt taken care of in this hostel. Make sure to notify if you will be arriving past 3pm.

we were happy with our stay. Very very small hostel, we didn’t mind this as we were out sight seeing most of the day but if you are looking for a hostel to chill at it’s not ideal. Offers free toast all day which is great.

A very small hostel, like others have said it’s more of an apartment with bunk beds. We stayed in the 8 bed dorm and it was a squeeze. It really only should have 6 beds in it! There are only two bathrooms which are in the kitchen/living area. Never had a problem waiting for a bathroom but I guess it could be an issue with the amount of people there. The living/kitchen area is quite small and it’s not the easiest place to sit and chill. It’s cheap for Singapore so you get what you pay for I guess

So I received an e-mail 1 day prior to my stay saying the hostel is renovating and I had to stay at the Breeze Inn hostel. Had the 4 bed dorm to myself for the full 5 days, which was great. Terrace and bathrooms were spacious and clean, free shampoo and shower gel was a plus. Tried breakfast once but the kitchen was too hot to really enjoy it. Overall a pretty good stay, but I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who wants to meet up with other backpackers, because it doesn't have a hostelvibe.

Hostel was in a pretty good location for accessing a lot of the city - it is a walkable distance to Outram Park MRT. Hostel facilities has 2 wet rooms which also contained a toilet. We never had an issue with queuing for a shower. We stayed in the biggest mixed dorm which contained 4 bunk beds. We found people had a lot of different schedules and the beds did shake whenever someone moved a little bit. The rooms contained a small locker each, big enough for day bags only - need own lock.
