We were very pleased with our stay at the harbour house. Our expectations were low due to previous reviews but we found the place to be very clean and comfortable. It was actually cleaner and in better condition than the highly reviewed hostel we stayed at in Dublin. Breakfast is simple, but good and the location allowed us to easily park and walk into the town centre. The shower water didn’t get super hot but it got warm, and that’s good enough. I would definitely stay here again.

As we arrived there we were informed that the plugs weren't working, it was impossible to charge cell phones or anything inside the room. On the day after wasn't electric power anywhere, It was impossible to take a shower, to turn on any kitchen electronics and no one was there to even speak up something to us. Be aware that "the light breakfast" described on the hostel advertising is nothing more than protein bars and some biscuits. I don't recommend this Hostel.

I’ve been to a lot of hostels all over the world, but this is the first time I’ve actually felt robbed of money. There were cracks all over the walls, peeling paint, and spiderwebs in our bedroom. Lamp didn't have a bulb and the blind was white so it didn’t block out the sun at all. Door didn’t close, bathroom still had clumps of hair in the shower, and there was more water coming out of the tap that the shower head. Breakfast was good. Door was also left unlocked for the luggage storage.
