It does exactly what it says on the tin, it was fairly basic accommodation. I’ve no complaints but I didn’t have overly high expectations ether. The one member of staff I met was very friendly, and the pricing to stay was fair. I would happily recommend this as a place to stay in Sligo if you are going on a budget.

I stayed in an ensuite room and it was very clean with a fantastic shower. A free breakfast was provided which was very welcome.

Not the most happening hostel in the world (on my first night I was the only guest, as far as I could deduce) but if you only need a place to lay down your drunk head for the night, it’s fine. 10 minute walk to the town centre.

The main issue is that it is overpriced for what it is, 60 euros for a small double room is too much in a youth hostel. We had a car so the location was ok. The facilities were ok and it was clean but it wasn't nice enough for us to come back in the evening and enjoy time in the lounge.

The member of staff I met was lovely and helpful the bed linen was clean. The place needs a good lick of paint to cheer it up and also a good scrub. I would probably not choose to stay there again

The staff was great, super friendly, and very helpful with everything. But compared to the rest of Ireland, this is even more expensive than I didn't think the value for money was ok. Additionally, even though the friendly sorted me out, there should be lockers provided for guests....specially at that price.

Lady was pleasant on checkin. After settlin in, i realised roof-window over bed blackout blind not working in my single room, so got another toom. Felt my time was wasted here aa no discussion. Like they knew beforehand it waa broken but chanced it. No wifi in rooms. In morning no hot water in my communal bathroom's shower. This was at 6.30am. No excuse. A common complaint that i see on tripadvisor. In my opinion, just not worth the €40 i paid......

I didn't enjoy it. Couldn't get any sleep. There was a street lamp just in front of my window and very tin curtains. There's nobody there to help you even with breakfast which you have to do it yourself.
