The hostel itself is run down and untidy while the staff are completely uninterested. The showers were either cold or have no pressure. There was human faeces in a bin in the shower room that was not removed for the duration of our stay. Location of the hostel is excellent however value for money is poor compared to other hostels i have stayed at.

The worst experience I had in a hostel. Cleanliness is shocking... there are mice over there. There’s no toilet paper, no hot water if you decide to have a shower. The rooms are old, dirty & messy.

I was horribly disappointed when I reached. I looked at their pictures online and it looked like a nice and bright place to crash for a night. When I reached the place was dark and dingy, it smelled bad and looked unclean. The beds were good but the key card didn't unlock the door. Each time I wanted to enter the room I had to knock until someone inside opened the door. The rooms are dirty and look like they haven't been cleaned in a long time. The staff is helpful.

I reserved a bed and arrived to a closed building. I understand the current circumstances but there is no excuse to not call or email those who have booked and paid a deposit to stay. Arriving late at night in seedy manchester to find your accommodation fully shut is stressful!
