Perched above the cliffs of Arrifana in the Costa Vicentina Natural Park, Arrifana Destination Hostel is a purpose-built hostel with modern, comfortable facilities, just a few minutes' walk from one of the Algarve's most iconic surf beaches.

Backpackers, solo travellers, couples and digital nomads all feel at home here. Watch the sunset from our terrace, cool off in the pool after a surf session, grab a cocktail at the bar and meet people from all over the world.

EAT & DRINK
Our on-site restaurant, Hokapia Original Burgers & Drinks, serves fresh, local and creative food, including some of the best burgers in the Algarve. Guests enjoy a special discount at the bar. Please note: there is no guest kitchen.

WORK & STAY
Our co-working space is perfect for remote workers. Work in the morning and be in the water by the afternoon.

EXPLORE
Arrifana attracts surfers, bodyboarders and nature lovers all year round. Head south to the wide beaches of Bordeira and Amado in Carrapateira, two of the region's best-known surf spots, or continue to Sagres, home of Prince Henry the Navigator's 15th-century nautical school. For the adventurous, hidden beaches with tricky access remain almost untouched.

I think owner of hostel needs to take a lil bit more care about the rooms and common spaces. For multiple reasons. I will mention few. There was sand everywhere, I mean under the mattresses as well so we were lil bit worried how clean the beds are, but we got no mysterious bites so I guess its ok. The safety locks were broken at our arrival, but it got fixed. Kitchen is poorly equipped. In general things around were not functioning. The reception staff were over all very nice and attentive.:))

It’s more a party hostel without any real party. I was a hiker and it’s not a quiet hostel. Closest grocery store is 40 min walk both ways. It’s clean but they do put way to many people in 1 room so it feels really crowded.

It was a very cool stay!! especially for young people!! we were checked in by the staff member Sem and she was just the sweetest human being on earth!! she remembered our names which made us feel very appreciated! loved it!!
