Property Description

HI! Ostello Milano is located in the QT8 district (Quartiere Triennale Ottavo), a building and district built after the Second World War on a project by the famous architect Piero Bottoni. The structure dates back to the late 60's and the intended use has always been based on low cost tourism to allow anyone to travel at low cost without having to give up comfortable accommodation.

A few minutes walk from the Meazza 'San Siro' Stadium, location of football matches and musical concerts, and even closer to the Hippodrome, it is also an excellent starting point for discovering the city and its beauties: The Duomo , the Pinacoteca di Brera and its contained works, the Castello Sforzesco, and the famous painting 'The Last Supper', a masterpiece by Leonardo Da Vinci. Milan is certainly a city to discover and admire; capital of Lombardy that will never cease to excite you. The subway stop is a few minutes walk from the hostel (QT8 - red line) and the bus and filubus stops for both the center and the Central Station are even closer.

Milan is the undisputed capital of Italian fashion and design, but there is absolutely no lack of typical clubs, restaurants, pubs and locations where you can meet up with friends and spend a pleasant evening.

The hostel has private rooms with bathroom and beds in multi-bed room with shared bathroom on the floor (male/female or mixed).

The structure complies with the anti Covid19 regulations.

We stayed in a 6 bed female room, and it was just my group in the room which was great, but I could not even image staying there with other people because the rooms were small and there was no security for your stuff. The bathrooms were disgusting and the rooms floor was dirty. The biggest issue I had was that there was no heat in my room and we were all freezing ! I asked them about this and they just told me that it was cold outside and some room’s heating isn’t good. Staff were great though!

Only half hour walk from san siro and cheapest available when I booked it but facilities need updating ( door to room scraping on floor, shower head was gaffa taped, wifi non-existent and balcony door didn't lock meaning guests from 3 other rooms could have walked in)

Only good thing is close to San Siro. WiFi never worked. Cold and heat didn’t work. Laundry didn’t work. Staff will mostly be rude and unhelpful besides a couple.

I've travelled along the Europe and stayed at many hostels but this one was the worst of all. The beds were really uncomfortable, there was no heating in the rooms and the windows weren't secure enough, the room was cold and not comfortable. As a female traveller I didn't feel secure enough. There were not enough plugs to charge my phone conveniently. The washrooms were unsanitary and inconvenient. My experience was no different than sleeping out at the streets to be honest.

Avoid this place. They made me change rooms four times in two days. Noisy, badly organised, dirty, to name a few characteristics.

Worst hostel I ever been in Europe , not at all safe , so dirty , rooms are smelly , reception desk was managed poorly. Got locked out of the hostel in night because no one was there at the reception to give keys. Owner doesn't care about the guests even if you call them 20 times. Many people living here for 1-2 years told only good thing here is it's cheap otherwise it's the worst in Milan. Will never recommend to anyone
